    The Xaldin fight in KH2

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 10:00 PM PDT

I remember this fight being extremely hard and rage inducing as a kid. I used to play on normal and he would kick my ass so damn much that it was the only fight I saw Mickey on ever. I just played it again on proud mode, only healed twice and just focused on his reaction commands, and trounced him. I know I was a kid, but it made me mad at myself lol. Anyone else have this realization?

    Xehanort’s Name

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 09:41 PM PDT

I'm replaying Kingdom Hearts and I only just now got the clue that Xehanort's name is an anagram of No Heart. It makes a bit more sense now.

If Sora appeared in the next Smash DLC, he would be the 13th characters.

    Posted: 23 Jun 2021 01:02 AM PDT

    1. Piranha Plant.

    2. Joker.

    3. Hero.

4.Banjo and Kazooie. ( They are considered to be as one character ).

    1. Terry.

    2. Byleth.

    3. Min-Min.

    4. Steve.

    5. Sephiroth.

    6. Pyra.

    7. Mythra.

Both Pyra and Mythra are considered to be separated characters.

    1. Kazuya.

    2. ???.

Even in another game, Sora can not escape number 13.

    Kingdom hearts is just amazing.

I just watched the ending of the kingdom hearts union x. And omg Nomura you mad genius i am so shocked at that ending just wow wow. Also do you think that the player character will return in the future? We already know that Xenorth and player characters are different idividuals(i know that Xenorth has the memories of player character but still he is his own person). Anyway can't wait for more kingdom hearts content!

Btw i would love to see some of union x characters in future kingdom hearts games player character included.

Future Dark Riku? So just a weird idea, why doesn't riku go into dark mode anymore? Can he still do it? What is up with that armour and evil? What would an older riku look like in dark mode? I have so many questions

What If Kingdom Hearts 2 came out in 1995/1996 and Birth by Sleep came out in 2000?

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 02:47 PM PDT

I'm pretty sure most of you Kingdom Hearts fans are probably familiar with YouTuber Regular Pat. Last month, he made this video titled "What if Kingdom Hearts was released 10 Years Earlier?". Basically he explained what the original Kingdom Hearts would've been like if it was released back in 1992 for systems like the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. He went into detail about what the Disney worlds would be like, the Keyblades, the summons, and even the Final Fantasy characters (which was pretty difficult considering there were barely any notable ones from around that time).

This gave me the idea to continue the alternate timeline and discuss what Kingdom Hearts 2 would've been like if it was released in December 1995 (for Japan) and March 1996 (everywhere else) on the original Sony PlayStation.

P.S.: I'm not gonna discuss about what Final Fantasy characters would be featured in this version of the game. My knowledge of the franchise is pretty limited, and I don't really know any characters from pre-Final Fantasy VII.

Unlike in this timeline's version of KH1, most of the Disney worlds from the actual KH2 would still be in this version of the game. These worlds being.....

    -Beast's Castle

    -Agrabah

    -Halloween Town

    -Pride Lands

    -Atlantica

    -Space Paranoids

    -Hundred Acre Woods

But these three worlds wouldn't be present for obvious reason:

    -Land of Dragons

    -Port Royal

    -Olympus Coliseum

Taking the place of one of the three missing worlds, we have a world returning from this timeline's KH1:

-Sherwood Forest (from Robin Hood, serving as the replacement for Olympus Coliseum)

In place of Land of Dragons, we have the world Camelot, from the film "The Sword in the Stone". This world would basically be like Beast's Castle since we're going to the homeworld of a party member that helped us out of their respective domain.

That party member being Arthur aka Wart aka Better Taran.

As for replacing Port Royal, that was a difficult task. Just like the actual KH2, this version marks the series' introduction to featuring live-action films. And since Pirates of the Caribbean wouldn't be around for another 7-8 years, it's pretty obvious we need another film to take the world's place. And while Disney does have quite the catalog of live-action films, it was rather difficult to find one that could fit into the Kingdom Hearts universe.

But then I found it.....the perfect movie to use! Taking the place of Port Royal, we have The Mysterious Ocean, based on the film "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".

The Council of Villains would be a little bigger in this version of the game. We would still have Maleficent as the leader and Pete as second-in command, and returning from this timeline's KH1, we have Ursula and Prince John. As for the other members, we have Jafar, Oogie Boogie, Scar and Captain Nemo.

Before we discuss the replacement worlds, let's talk about the staying worlds first.

With the exception of Space Paranoids and Hundred Acre Woods, all of the staying worlds would see some change. But the one that would be getting it the most would have to be Atlantica.

That whole musical mini-game stuff that took up the entire world....yeah, that shit is going straight to Shadow Realm! This version of Atlantica would have, here's a shock, an actual story!

The story is about Ursula, who was revived by Maleficent and is now using the Heartless in order to steal Triton's trident and take over Atlantica. There's also a side-plot involving the romance between Ariel and Eric.

Once again, Ariel would serve as your party member, relying on her tail-swipes, spins and magical potions to attack enemies at first. But during the second visit, Ariel gets a trident of her own, allowing her to cast powerful magic.

The Limit between her and Sora is called "Whirlpool", where they're both bounded together and spin all across the battlefield, attacking enemies with their magic.

As for the bosses of this world, we would still have a big final one against Ursula herself, but there would be ones against a giant shark-like Heartless and Flotsam and Jetsam.

Beast's Castle also has a notable change in it's story and world layout. The story is sort of an abridged version of the climax from the film, where the Castle is under attack by the Gaston and the villagers.

As for the layout, we would still have the Castle to explore, but the world would be expanded to include the Village and the Forest.

Beast will serve as your party member for this world, relying on his brute strength and attacking enemies with claw swipes, lunges and roars.

The bosses from the original KH2 version of this world would still be present, with the addition of Gaston serving as a final boss.

His boss fight is similar to Clayton's, as he rides into battle on his Heartless Enraged Elk (yes, from Kingdom Hearts X) while shooting at you with his blunderbuss.

As for Agrabah and Halloween Town, they'll basically be like how they were in the original KH1, story-wise and world layout-wise, with Aladdin and Jack will still serve as your party members.

The only changes would be with Agrabah, but these are pretty minor ones.

The first change would be with the boss fight against Jafar. Instead of fighting him in his genie form after the first round with him, you'll fight him in his giant cobra form.

The second change would be with the whole Princess of Heart storyline with Jasmine, since she isn't one of the Seven Hearts in this timeline.

Space Paranoids doesn't need to changed whatsoever. It's perfectly fine the way it is.

As for the Pride Lands, it's pretty much the same as it was in the original KH2. The only difference is in the story, since Sora, Donald and Goofy hadn't met Simba yet, unlike in the original KH1.

Now that we got the staying worlds out of the way, let's get to there replacement worlds.

Starting off the replacement worlds, we have Sherwood Forest. Like with the Olympus Coliseum in the original KH2, Sherwood Forest would be slightly expanded. We would still have the Tournament Grounds, but we would also be able to explore Sherwood Forest itself and the Kingdom of Nottingham.

Story-wise, it's somewhat similar to the story of KH2 Olympus Coliseum. Prince John has recruited a Final Fantasy character (I really don't know who) who could go toe-to-toe with Robin Hood and defeat the fox once and for all. Little John, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck and Lady Cluck, who overheard Prince John's plan, warns Robin Hood about it, but brushes it off, believing at he could easily beat this character in a snap. I'm pretty sure you can tell where this is going.

Speaking of Robin Hood, he would actually serve as the party member of this world this time around. He's a well-balanced fighter who specializes in close and long ranged attacks. He fights with his sword, bows and arrows.

The Limit between him and Sora is called "Marksman", where they both unleashed a barrage of magic and arrows on surrounded enemies.

As for enemies and bosses, the Heartless of this world would sport a Renaissance Fair look to fit in. The Sheriff of Nottingham would serve as boss for this world, once again. The final boss would against Prince John and this big medieval-looking Heartless.

Next we have Camelot. Your party member will be none other than Arthur. He's like Ping, except less clumsy, as he fights enemies with his legendary sword Excalibur.

The limit between him and Sora is called "Broadsword", where the duo deliver a series of slashes to surrounding enemies.

As for the layout of this world, it would consist of the Castle that Arthur, Ector and Kay currently live in, the surrounding Village, the Forest, and the Bog.

Just like in Sherwood Forest, the Heartless of this world will sport a medieval look to them.

Mad Madam Mim will serve as the main villain of this world, as well as the final boss. She fights by transforming into various animals, which you can also as well in the fight against her.

Finally, we arrive at The Mysterious Ocean. The story of this world is something of a loose retelling of the movie. Captain Nemo has teamed up with the Council of Villains to learn about the Heartless and use it to his advantage in his war against humanity.

You're party member will be Ned Land, who's fighting style is similar to Robin Hood, as he's capable of close and long range attacks. He fights with a knife and a harpoon.

The Limit between him and Sora is called "Maritime", where the duo unleash a combination of slashes, magic and harpoon throws.

The layout of this world consist of Vulcania (Captain Nemo's Base) and the Open Ocean (which is filled with various islands that you can travel to and explore via the Nautilus).

The Heartless of this world will sport a mostly aquatic theme to them, just like Atlantica, but there will also be some with a more steampunk look as well. As for bosses, there's two notable ones.

Just like the other villains, Captain Nemo will serve as the final boss of this world. He attacks by using a Heartless-infused version of the Nautilus. The first boss, however, would be against the Giant Squid since we can't have world based on 20,000 Leagues and not have a boss against the movie's most iconic set piece. The fight would be similar to the Hydra boss in KH2, except it's in the middle of the ocean, the Squid attacks you with it's tentacles, and there's no one constantly shouting "GeT uP oN tHe SqUiD's bAcK!"

Also, Sora, Donald and Goofy would be dressed in sailor suits in order to fit in with the world.

Now that we got the worlds out of the way, let's talk about the Summons.

Right off the bat, only two of the summons will still be present in this version of KH2-Peter Pan and Genie. Stitch and Chicken Little will obvious have to go since they're movies won't be out for another decade. Taking their place, we have The Rocketeer from…..uh…."The Rocketeer" (which you can summon using the Jetpack Charm) and Powerline from "A Goofy Movie" (using the Stagelight Charm).

The Rocketeer grabs you and flies you around the battlefield while you shoot at enemies with magic, while with Powerline, you attack enemies while performing sweet dance movies.

Well that's all for now, but before I go, let's briefly talk about what Birth by Sleep would be like if it was released for the PlayStation as well In January 2000 (for Japan) and September of that same year (for everyone else).

Overall, this version of the game would be more or less the same as it's original counterpart. All the worlds present in the original version would still be present here (yes, including Olympus Coliseum).

The only would that wouldn't be featured would be Deep Space, since Lilo and Stitch wouldn't be out for another two years,. In it's place, we would have the Pride Lands. Just like in Olympus Coliseum, the story of this world takes place during Simba's childhood. From his trip into the Elephant Graveyard, to finally meeting Timon and Pumbaa during his exile after Mufusa's death.

    Posted: 22 Jun 2021 06:18 PM PDT

    Hello everyone,

I was talking with a friend of mine about how people like to make fan art of organization XXIII and we joked around that there's probably a Mike Wazowski fan art of him being in the organization (looking dark/gloomy/sinister).

I looked around on google and I cant find anything, and I don't search up fan art so I do not know where to start. If anyone could tell me where the heck I could find something like this so I can continue my search (or if you have seen this before) id greatly appreciate it.
