    KH3 is really underappreciated especially for its era

    In an era where lots of highly anticipated games turned out to be buggy messes like Cyberpunk 2077 or unfinished like FFXV, KH3 stands out for being a finished game with no bugs and the DLC being there to address some issues with the base game instead of being purposefully cut content.

    I appreciate the amount of heart the devs put into making KH3. They really wanted to make KH3 loved by everyone. I mean the scene where keyblade wielders of the past named after the people who played KHX aid Sora in defeating the Demon Tide is a penultimate example of the devs putting so much effort into this game.

    The game has flaws with the main ones being that the base game was too easy and the Disney worlds were filler but it's not like KH2(arguably the most popular entry) didn't have these problems.

    I'm grateful for how KH3 turned out. Sure it isn't a masterpiece but that doesn't make it a bad game. Every game has its flaws.

    Do you feel like KH3 will be more beloved as time moves on?

    I remember the same thing happening to KH2 when it released it was criticized for cutscenes being too long, it being too easy and the story being too complicated on online forums and by youtubers all of which things that KH3 gets criticized for too but then Final Mix came out worldwide with the HD remixes and the rest of the world could finaly enjoy things like critical mode, the data battles, limit form, the roxas bossfight and of course LW its safe to say that the Final Mix version of KH2 is now more popular and well known than the vanilla version

    so i thought to myself if the same thing could happen to KH3 once it may get a re-release on PS5 with 60 FPS and the Re:mind content because alot of people simply didnt buy remind or played it at all and i think its a shame because the content in Re:mind is easily some of the best of the entire franchise

    you think that with time KH3 could actually become just as beloved as KH1 and 2 among fans? because for me it already is thanks to Re:mind

    Are the other games similar to Birth by Sleep at all?

    Hey all. Recently decided I'd finally give Kingdom Hearts a go after it'd been sat on my shelf for 4+ years (2.5 Remix on PS3), and so far I've enjoyed it a lot. I started out with Birth by Sleep and I gotta say, I loved it. Finished all 3 routes and the final episode, now moving on to Mysterious Figure. (with Terra, I've heard it's harder with him?) Birth by Sleep alone has sorta convinced me to dive deeper into KH, but after trying out KH2, I'm not so sure. Kinda looking for a second opinion on whether I should bother playing the rest of the games or not, based on how the combat works mainly. After playing KH2 for a few hours I really couldn't get into it, with me being used to having commands and melding in BBS. Any other games have similar features to BBS at all, or do the rest of the games follow the combat in KH2? Thanks in advance.

    EDIT: I reread this and realised it's all over the place and almost incoherent, hope it still makes sense tho
