    I know bbs came after days, so im wondering if that was supposed to be some form of keyblade armor? I know it's supposed to look like sora but is there anything more to it?

    I do not know if much people are going to pay attention, but if you have clicked on this post I must say this is a very exciting moment for me. It has taken effort to make this thing a reality. First I want to thank Nanashima https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRzon8s6K-dR7fH_MrKkYcA for allowing me to use his KH 2 Scherzo di Notte arrangement for the video, the link is the URL to his channel. Here I will leave the link to the youtube video KH 2 New ReMix part 1 - YouTube in case you want to watch it straight away, but I'd like to explain first what is KH 2 New ReMix.

    When I played KH 2 final mix for first time I always found the cutscenes very boring and felt like an eternity. I wondered why this happened and I got to the conclusion that Nomura simply wasted time filling the scenes with unnecessary dialogues that did not add anything to the plot or the story. This did not only happened with dialogue, but with some establishing shots too, and some characters actions. So, I just got rid off of that in this New ReMix I've made, I guarantee you a more cinematic experience with more action and a faster pace. Below I will leave four sets of Timestamps which you will also find in the Youtube comments. In each timestamp I explain what are the changes that I made if there are any. I must say thay the way I've edited the cutscenes have made it worth the time, even if it is only for my personal enjoyment, which I am glad to share with you. Hope you like it if you decide to see it. Thanks!

    Remember that by seeing the cutscenes you will spoil yourself! This is for those that already have played KH 2

    7:08 1st day intro (modified) there was a establishing shot between twilight town title and "1st day" title I considered unnecessary and delayed action to take place. Also when Hayner says "now, what to do?" Olette makes a very childlish gesture of "I don't know" that only delayed action and did not change the plot at all and I cut directly to Roxas dialogue

    12:20 Hayner's gang talks with Seifer's gang (modified) After Roxas knees and he notices he can use a weapon "Sinister Sundown" track plays unlike the original cutscene. Also after Pence says "Roxas, focus" a fight with Seifer starts. Here I "deleted" that fight and thus would make the player jump directly at the 2nd fight with Seifer which makes more sense history wise and gameplay wise.

    13:54 Seifer is defeated (Modified) I simply skipped the animation of Pence taking out his camera and just jumped straight to him taking the picture.

    14:30 Roxas faces against mysterious thief (Modified) Used "Dive to the Heart" track for the cutscene

    19:52 Hayner's gang discuss about doing a trip (modified) After Hayner speech he makes a long silence until realizing nobody is talking and says "No? Come on!". That has been removed to make the pause between the speech and Roxas' dialogue shorter and let action continue more fluidly.

    21:43 Roxas and Hayner make a promise (modified) In the original when Roxas goes around the corner he stops and greets his friends with a long and silly wave. That is not very realistic, so I just made Roxas approach his friends and also making action to continue without unnecessary delays.

    23:02 Hayner's gang reunite at the train station (modified) When Hayner asks Roxas "What are you talking about" I skipped the shot of Roxas standing alone outside the station and jumped directly to Hayner's next dialogue "There was no guy"

    51:11 Roxas shares the prize (Modified) When Roxas falls "Lazy afternoons" keeps playing. Also when Kairi and Selphie are presented we see them already walking to somewhere, instead of watching Kairi walking alone and then Selphie stopping her. I feel that Kairi walking alone is not interesting enough and her aura of "lonely" person is a bit out of character. Also, after Roxas tells Kairi his name, the music mutes. The "Kairi" OST plays at the same time Sora says "You don't remember my name?", this is because I always have felt that track is more an icon of the relationship between Sora and Kairi and it also let's the track have more meanning than in the original cutscene. The other change is that in the original cutscene Kairi is lying on the floor after Sora talks to her. Here she has not fainted, which let's action have a faster pace.

Also when Roxas sees the ghost train the cutscenes are merged together, there are no more fade out and fades in. Also "Lazy afternoons" track mutes when Hayner stops Roxas and not when the normal train arrives

Here I placed "Missing you" track as it represents the connection between Roxas and Sora, changing the original meaning of this piece. The track lasts from the middle of the cutscene to the end.

    1:15:22 Pence, Olette and Roxas meet at the usual spot (Modified) There is no music, this reflects that Roxas is less connected with his friends. Also I removed an establishing shot of the station, as we already know they will meet Hayner at the top of it and skip directly to there.

    1:16:26 Ansem questions DiZ again. (Modified) In the original cutscene after DiZ says "Very soon to them, he will be like a good friend that has been gone for a year" we see Ansem walk to a chair. This halts the actions and makes the interaction feel weird and clunky. Instead I've insterted Ansem soundsteps effect as DiZ says the dialogue to avoid delaying the interaction.

It makes us know that Roxas knows something bad is happening and prepares the encounter with Axel effectively. Also I cut Axel cutscene where he says "The Roxas that I know is long gone", etc. To place it later.

    1:25:01 Roxas arrives to Naminé's room (modified) I included "Roxas" OST as what happens in this cutscene represents perfectly what Roxas is, a nobody seeking for answers, willing to do anything necessary to know who he is and that fears to disappear into nothingness.

    1:28:15 Axel decides to kill Roxas (modified), as I explained in the "Roxas meets Axel again", I changed this scene placement here because it will connect better with a cutscene that will happen shortly after, reminding the audience what Axel intentions are now and prepare it better for what is coming next

I think this is the best track because it is a catharsis to Roxas conflicts and the effort of DiZ and Naminé to awaken Sora. Also, Nomura decided this because he wanted to symbolize the adventure begins, but that is not true because there is still a tutorial-like "mission" to do before you actually start your adventure.

    1:41:27 Sora meets Seifer (modified) There is no music in the cutscene until the Struggle championship organizer appears, then "Afternoon streets" track plays.

Also I deleted a dialogue between Sora, Donald and Goofy where they dumbly think they did not see their majesty even when it is obvious that he is Mickey. And no, KH 2 being a product for children does not justify it, so I skipped the dialogue and jumped directly to the next cutscene.

Instead I let the scene continue without music until the train leaves, where "Missing you" starts playing, because as I said before, this song is the one that connects between Roxas and Sora. Plus, it connects with another two cutscenes that originally play separately, but here they are combined into one, making the story's pace faster.

So I skipped to Yen Sid's dialogue "You are the key that will open the door of light" to avoid repetition of what is important here, which is stablish Sora as the chosen one, and Sora's reaction to Yen Sid is to summon the Keyblade. In overall, the scene is more dynamic and not so clunky as in the original.
