I'd like to preface this by saying that I've continuously glossed over this series growing up. I didnt know what it was, to be honest. I just knew it was a crossover of Disney and Final Fantasy, both franchises I cared little about. With the protagonist being Sora, a kid I thought was bland and easily self-projectable, and a story with so many threads (loose and tightened) that were present by the time I acknowledged it's existence, I was put off by how much of an apparent commitment I had to make just to understand the hype. I thought it was just a kid's game way too many people had rose-tinted glasses for.

Well, after about 2 weeks of continuous play, I finished it. And I get it.

I've never had a game fill me with such a flurry of emotions before. The biggest one is regret- for I wish I couldv'e experienced this game earlier in my life when I needed it. But I'm happy that I did eventually pick this game up, because it's phenominal. From the music, to the very cheesy dialogue, to the expertly crafted tale of friendship and the heart and strength it takes to defend it. It's all a complete masterpiece.

I haven't cried over a game this much in my life. And once I can compose myself and finish watching all the deconstruction videos of KH1, I'll be diving deeper into the series.

If you read all of this disjointed rant, then thank you. And you now have another keyblade wielder within the fray.
