Why do Keyblades exist in the way they do in KH3?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 06:16 PM PST

This is a question I try not to think about too hard or it just gets me riled up. Why do Keyblades function like they do in KH3? I don't mean from a gameplay standpoint, I mean from a story standpoint.

How come Riku and Mickey's Keyblades are broken and then Yen Sid just builds new ones? I thought Keyblades were, like, the manifestation of the strength and will of the heart? Riku's Keyblade was the physical representation of his journey from dark to light, and Mickey's Keyblade was the Realm of Darkness's version of the Kingdom Key. So, they can just be broken? And then new ones can built? How? Why? Was it do Nomura could just design new ones? Could he not at least design good ones?

I thought the Kingdom Key D, was at least, y'know, sort of important. And Riku's new key is representative of jack and shit, and looks stupid.

I have qualms with the way Keyblades have been treated since BBS, but at least it wasn't sort of just stupid and flippant. Well, it was sort of flippant, but it wasn't this flippant.

How are Keyblades built, anyway? Can't they open the lanes between worlds and fucking realms and shit? How do you just build one? And don't you think by this point you've completed obliterated any wonder or mystique Keyblades had by just making it so that they can be created? Forged, like a sword.

How did that shitty boss break it anyway? If Xehanort just put the Kingdom Key over his Knee of Darkness and used his Muscles of Darkness, could he just snap it... of Darkness?

    Ugh.

    Ach.

    AAAAAARRGGGHHHH!

Was it ever stated or clarified on what is the symbol Eraqus and Xehanort have on their belt? Terra and company have the same symbol on their clothing as well. Possible insignia of the Keyblade society of Scala?

If I preorder Re:Mind can I still get the PS4 theme without owning Kingdom Hearts 3?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 07:04 PM PST

This is the only theme that plays Dearly Beloved besides that other one that with a special edition playstation 4 console I think. I really like Dearly Beloved but I'm not ready to play Kingdom Hearts 3 just yet.

    Finally finished KH3

    Posted: 29 Dec 2019 08:58 PM PST

So I know most of you will probably say I'm not a true fan because I started on the 3rd and I don't know most of the stuff but I really enjoyed this game! I play Xbox so I was never able to play it but I finished it after a unnecessarly long break but im glad I finally finished it. If you guys have any recommendations on how I can catch up on the story id appreciate it!
