    Hello, everyone! I call myself Xaddgx Absol Brasse on YouTube, but that's a little too long for the title. I've been modding for a long time. My memory isn't the best, but YouTube says my oldest video was from 11 years ago, so that's what we're going with to describe a long time. Most of the work I've done has been on KH2FM, but other games or even visual novels I occasionally decided to mess with. However, I'll keep on the subject of KH here.

    Modding for Kingdom Hearts games has come a long way. A lot of the focus for modding that went beyond simple texture mods ended up with KH2FM. Around 2008 when my channel started, everyone was mostly using simple Codebreaker cheats to just insert bosses and allies around places they don't belong. As PS2 emulation became good enough to really delve into the game, people started making the very first play as boss codes. They only worked in one room and they were terribly buggy, but at the time it was unseen. I had nothing to do with any of that by the way, I'm just giving you history. Where I started making actual unique contributions was around 2012, where I figured out you could heavily alter movesets of bosses to make something even crazier than the original game. I then made some tutorials describing that process. Fast forward to where we are now, and my addiction to modding KH2FM a lot brought us the Vanitas mod; A character with their own take on effects, attacks, magic, and just a lot of altered game design. It was very, very time-consuming work, but judging by the overall reception it paid off.

    And that brings me to my point, finally! I hope my history lesson didn't bore you all, I just wanted to establish some credibility so you'll trust that if you have any questions about modding like where to start, if something is even possible, what you would have to do, how tedious it'll be to do, or anything else about KH2FM, you can ask me anything! Or maybe you'd just like to get to know me better, who knows?

    Just to clarify something here: I can't really give you anything beyond entry-level advice for games like KH1, BBS, Days, etc. And the extent of current KH3 modding is a save editor you have to pay about $50 (?) dollars for, and all it'll get you is editing stats or accessing rooms you can't normally play in. Characters like Riku and Aqua can't even be dragged out of the world they're loaded into as a playable character, so… yeah.

    Question about Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover

    So i played kingdom hearts 1 & 2, on PS2 and CoM when i was young and loved them. A few months ago i bought a PS4 and got the Story So Far. On the second disc, 2.8, it says it includes a game turned into a movie called KH X Back Cover. Is this the same as the movie they made out of the cutscenes in Days? And also my main question, is this movie a summary of the mobile game available on iOS and Play Store? I believe it's called Unchained X. Not sure, i downloaded it a while ago and shortly after i deleted it. I don't really want to play this mobile game and i'm wondering if this X Back Cover movie will fill me in on the main storyline?

    I have absolutely no reason to believe this other than the phrasing of "HD Kingdom Hearts Project" which would lead one to believe it is a remaster or remake of some sort. I think they're potentially putting together a package that would include all of the Re: Mind DLC repackaged into the main game and maybe even the patented color palette swaps with some balancing stuff?

    The only other remake that came to mind is maybe Days but I have no idea why they'd do that now of all times. What do you guys think?

    I just started kingdom hearts 1 (final mix) for the first time

    And I'm terrible. I can't beat the heartless and Clayton to save my life and I'm only on normal difficulty. I also just barely beat the previous bosses out of luck mostly. Is this game naturally difficult or do I just suck at video games? Would easy mode be better if I'm just trying to get through and know the story? I have really enjoyed the game so far but I've been getting pissed
