Name an anime series that a KH fan would enjoy

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 07:19 PM PDT

I don't know if this is the right sub to put this in but anyway....

The Kingdom Hearts series is the closest thing I ever experienced to watching anime. When I was younger and watched cartoons I couldn't stand any show that was anime simply because I was too young to understand what was going on in the episodes.

However, now that I am older I feel I would actually enjoy anime a lot more. But, I don't know which show to binge. I would prefer a show that had the same themes and would appeal to a Kingdom Hearts fan like me. Do you guys have any suggestions?

How do you react to the possibility of a Kingdom Hearts Warriors game?

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 06:03 PM PDT

Kingdom Hearts is essentially a free-er version of Dynasty Warriors since Its involves a lot of mowing down multiple enemies and using the allies you have. While granted, it would have to be restricted to fit the Dynasty Warriors formula, how would you react if Disney announced a Kingdom Hearts Warriors game involving using multiple characters and keep/territory taking as well as mowing down thousands of enemies.

Why Kingdom Hearts, well aside from the gameplay, it's got a buttload of locations, it's got the characters and it would fit in so well with Kingdom Hearts. Whether this would be a canonical game or a spin off is up to the player but remember, this is Kingdom Hearts, nothing escapes its complicated lore.

KH3 Limit Cut Episode saved the game for me.

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 11:46 PM PDT

I was always a bit skeptical about the game and it's way if story telling , some didn't mind it which is fair but the main thing kh3 lacking was the well designed boss fights to me. The entire game felt basic until I got the dlc recently. Limit cut episode has me shaking trying to beat these bosses on a critical run and I absolutely love it, I haven't fought anyone yet who I thought was tedious (although some might disagree). In the end the game left me very satisfied and I'm thankful for that.

    thirteen (13)

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 01:36 PM PDT

did you ever consider how much 13 there is in this series?

    so lets go.

    kingdom hearts 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 2.8 / 0.2 / 3 = 13.

    kingdom hearts = 13 letters

kingdom hearts 3, 13 years for the release.

    13 pieces of darkness

    organisation 13.

    tetsuya nomura = 13 letters

sora riku kairi, micky donald goofy, axel roxas xion, aqua ven terra, yen sid. 13 people fighting for team light in the final war.

they also have 13 keyblades in total. 3 from sora riku kairi, 1 from mickey, 4 from axel roxas(fights with 2) xion, 3 from aqua ven terra and technically 1 from yen sid, who doesnt use one but still is a keyblade master so had one at some point.

sora can get 13 different keyblades in kh3 (by now its more with oathkeeper and oblivion, but im talking on release date and without the ps4/xbox exclusive ones)

ultima in kh3 gives +13 attack and +13 magic.

and i mainly looked at kingdom hearts 3 here. i bet theres more 13 in other kh games.

melody of memory will be the 13th KH game (if we dont count the 1.5 remix, 2.5 remix, the story so far and every other compilation)

Can’t remember specific Kingdom Hearts song?

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 08:31 PM PDT

I'm trying to find a song that I heard from SOMEWHERE in a Kingdom Hearts game or trailer or something! The last time I heard it was in the 2000's so it's been a while and I can't quite accurately describe it, but it's driving me insane not being able to remember it. I think it was kinda electronic-y? It had a lady singing I know for sure! Any suggestions?

    [SOLVED] it's simple and clean

The announcement of Melody of Memories has convinced me that Nomura is using Kingdom Hearts as a test to see how whipped the fans are. After releasing games on multiple consoles, we're now delving into different genres. Just wait for KH Gummi Racers.

    Help against Ursula??

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 05:53 PM PDT

I'm struggling so hard right now against Ursula in that boss fight, to the point I'm thinking of skipping it even though it's my first play through. I already beat Monstro, so I guess after this is Halloween Town. I'm trying not to skip any worlds, but I'm just so annoyed.

Its hard to focus on hitting one thing with those eels swimming around and Ursula always moving. Plus you can barely get a combo on her before she starts spinning again. The swimming part is already hard to get used to. I'm thinking of doing the "attack the crater till it explodes" and repeat method, but it requires so much magic and it's hard to get a moment to breath where I can focus on it.

So any advice to beat her?

Did you beat Squall (or Leon) on your first play through of kh1?

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 04:01 PM PDT

Squall (or Leon as he is referred to as in kh) is a miniboss in traverse town. In the cutscene sora loses to him either way, but you can actually win the fight against him in game. I believe you get an item for winning, but you do not need to win in order to proceed.
