    Just beat Kingdom Hearts 1.

    I absolutely loved it, and had a blast for most of the game.

    Then all the ansem fights happen. I hate this motherfucker.

    Idk man. That was emotional labor. The first fight on the beach is annoying because you're not expecting his "submit" attack, which more often than not just means slow death if it gets you.

    Ansem II is hard as shit until you learn to goad him into using submit so you can dodge easy and let him have it. That sonic the hedgehog blue fireball move was fucking annoying though. Especially since he just spams it over and over again. Bonus, you have to fight that giant shadow before fighting him... Every single time you lose and have to fight ansem II again. You're solo for this one btw

    Then the flying one (also by yourself). Fuck that part. I didn't get aeroaga, so fuck me I guess, that makes the fight about 100x harder apparently. The lasers are spammy as fuck, and I had to fly in, pop off literally 4 hits, then fly around and dodge the lasers for 3 minutes before doing it again. I ran out of ethers and elixirs so I didn't have much room to fuck up.

    Ansem II: Laser spam and a dude that blindly swats at the air with a sword. Ace game design.

    Obviously the rest of the game is easy, but by that point I was feeling the residual frustration and wasn't having fun anymore.

    Idk if I just suck at the game, but ansem is seriously one of the spammiest bosses I've ever encountered and it honestly ruined my view of the game. I feel like I could beat him again now that I know what I'm doing, but the trial and error to get there was annoying at best, but it was infuriating most of the time. I had no fun at all fighting him.

    That part of the game might almost be on par with the unpatched meat circus from psychonauts.

    Alright call me a n00b or whatever, but that was hard, and not in a satisfying way.
