    Namine's appearance

    Okay, so the one thing that drives people to question about Namine is her appearance. Why does she have a blonde hair? Nobodies typically look like their original selves but she and Roxas didn't. Roxas is already explained but for those that aren't aware, when Sora split into Heartless and Nobody, Ven's heart didn't leave his body like Kairi's did. It stayed in that leftover shell, forming Roxas and affecting his look. This is explained in an Ultimania interview.

    I've seen people claim Namine's hair is blonde because of Ventus being a blond as well. That doesn't really sit right with me. Mainly because 1. That's a boring as fuck explanation 2. Their hair isn't even the same shade of blonde and 3. It's not even proven in interviews or the game itself so that going around is just misdirection and false info.

    My assumption she is blonde, since there isn't an exact reason why for some reason yet, is because Namine reflects that of Kairi's pure heart and her having no darkness inside of her. And when one thinks of pure, an angelic appearance comes to mind: white dress/gown, pale skin, and gold/blonde hair. That's Namine in a nutshell.

    Again, this is just a guess, so it isn't canon, and the reason I think Nomura changed her appearance from Kairi (since she's a special Nobody in the first place). It really does make more sense than the boring and basic "because Ven has blond hair too" theory. Let's be real.

    But what do you think about it? Why do you think she has blonde hair?
