    Hi everyone! I'm new to Kingdom Hearts and I played Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts ReCoM already. I thought KH1 was a great game and I actually found Kingdom Hearts ReCoM to be a good game as well. I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and I'm about 8 hours into the game. I've completed Land of the Dragons and the Beast's Castle. I'm at the Olympus Coliseum right now. The gameplay in KH2 is definitely better, but idk I'm not enjoying this game as much as I thought I would. I felt KH1 had better worldbuilding, story, a greater sense of adventure, better level design and more. Kingdom Hearts 2 just feels like it has better gameplay but a lot of other areas are worse. Now I know it might sound like an unpopular opinion. I'm not here to criticize the game, I'm just genuinely curious. Does KH2 get better or should I drop the game? I was looking forward to continue the series but so far, this game isn't really capturing the magic that the first game had.

    I recently got to thinking about it, since I try not to normally thanks to the pointless singing mini games, they completely throw out the whole "world order" thing aka don't interfere with the natural course of the world. There are no heartless or nobodies to justify Sora and crew to even stick around and then despite the events from the previous games Ariel still trusts Ursula. You'd think at the very least King Triton would be rushing them away instead of encouraging them to stay to cheer Ariel up since they are from a different world and would only worsen her situation.
