    For the next couple of weeks, we're changing it up a bit! We're going to add weekly questions to spur up some more discussion on the franchise, now that we're on the verge of our anniversary year!

    Sora does have something personal with Xehanort

    A lot of fans thought that Sora shouldn't have been the one to defeat Xehanort because he didn't have a personal connection with him as the Wayfinder trio and others since they technically first met in KH3. While Xehanort didn't antagonize Sora directly before KH3 where he temporarily killed Kairi, let's not forget how much hell the other incarnations of Xehanort put Sora through.

    Ansem destroyed his world which endangered the lives of his friends and family, orchestrated the Disney Legion of Doom to capture Kairi, corrupted and brainwashed his best friend into fighting him.

    Xemnas heavily mistreated Roxas and Xion who are essentially Sora's brother and sister. Sora considers Roxas a brother and the scene in the Big Hero 6 world confirms this. Hiro says that Tadashi still lives on in all of the team while he, Sora, Baymax, and Gogo set atop the San Fransokyo bridge eating ice cream together in a similar fashion to Roxas and his friends. Sora then starts hallucinating himself as Roxas sitting with his friends from Twilight Town after Hiro brings up his brother. This shows that Sora views Roxas as his brother. Not to mention that Sora's heart was connected to Roxas, Ventus, and Xion. Any pain they feel, HE feels.

    The problem is that people only consider Xehanort's actions against Sora which seems low ignoring that Ansem and Xemnas are a part of him. There's also the fact the Guardians of Light aren't trying to end Xehanort's reign of terror for revenge, they are doing it out of a sense of duty which is to protect the princesses and save the universe
