    Just watch an episode of Mickey's club house with my son. In the episode Goofy, more than anything, wanted to be a knight. It just made me smile and think of these amazing games, and the world they have created.

    [KH1] Playing for the first time, my thoughts.

    Went on a PS2 game collecting spree early last year when I was jobless. Picked up KH1 for like $5 I believe, playing it now for the first time. Technically I tried playing it as a teen right after I finished FFXII which is my favorite game of all time. Coming from that game, I was turned off by the graphics and weird movement control, stopped playing.

    I gotta say though, wow this is a solid game. Every time I think I'm about to get bored of repetitiveness, the game throws some new mechanic at me, or a new world that's too interesting for me to stop playing. I like how each world has different heartless that look and behave differently. I like the collectibles that are out in the open and not in borderline impossible to find places, I like the visual reward you get from seeing more Dalmatians in the house, or helping Pooh in the book.

    I'm playing on the harder difficulty, and it's challenging, but still not very hard. I don't really grind, except if I'm in an area with high munny dropping enemies, I might stomp a few out.

    It's crazy how well some PS2 games hold up, from a time where developers couldn't rely on fancy graphics to hold a game up. I'm sure these graphics were amazing back in the day, but I still feel developers focused more on gameplay back then. Even GTA V compared to SA was super boring to me.

    Anyways, great game and can't wait to play the rest! Story still makes sense so far...
