    Vanitas should have been a better character

    So I've played through BBS again, and looking at it, Vanitas got dealt a shitty hand in his life. He was ripped out of his own body and given a face that wasn't his own. He was forced to undergo gruel training for 4 years by the same man that clearly cared nothing for him. It seems that all Vanitas wants is to reform with Ventus, as Ventus (before he was split) never once seemed interested in forging the X-Blade, and with someone with so much pent up anger and rage, sorrow and anguish, why would he respect the person that made him in the first place, he doesn't seem so bent on existing, like Roxas was, it seems he just wants to join together. Vanitas is also no stranger to going behind Xehanorts back. Trying to destroy Ventus, failing to kill Aqua, and in 3, it seems he tried to remerge with Ventus, something I doubt Xehanort would approve of in any case. It seems that Vanitas's goals linger around his other half. I felt like Vanitas was a tragic villain, he didn't ever really have a hand in his own fate, and was played by his master, destroyed by his own brothers, and taking the Japanese version of the game into account, Vanitas shouldered the heaviest burden, choosing to be the darkness to allow them to be the light. In the end though, he just fades, there is no understanding, admiration for the person they both mistook him to be, there is no peace for Vanitas, he has always been though pain, and they easily shake him off and then... He's gone, it seems so unfulfilling for the rich amount of character this antagonist has. Vanitas holds a special place in my heart as a fantastic example of what could have been. It's a shame we may never see it realized, but hey, ReMind is still a thing, so there is hope we get *something*.

    My ranking of KH youtube channels

    These are the channels I primarily watch. Feel free to add any I might've missed.

    1. HMK: He's kind of a...tool. I've heard he steals his theories and I always felt like he was kind of a douche to Volt when he got kicked off the X-Keepers. (For clarification, HMK took a picture with the 4 X-Keepers and a trash can and said "the five X-Keepers are back together" smh.

    2. SirSkyward: I really enjoyed his rewrite of KH3, but his name change was stupid and didn't accomplish anything. He also doesn't upload KH stuff a lot and I'm not into the cartoon thing.

    3. Soraalam1: I don't dislike him, I just find him boring and I'm not big on his sense of humor. His older content is good and I enjoy a lot of his analytical videos, but he barley uploads and it isn't really a "quality over quantity" thing, it's just an average video every few months.

    4. TheGamersJoint: While I think he's kind of annoying with his over reactions/random humor, he has been a good news source for KH3 since the beginning.

    5. Prodigy: He's alright. I think I just don't watch his videos a lot because he post a lot of old news at times. I don't find him too entertaining, but he seems like a great guy and you can really see his love for the series.

    6. Everglow: I love him, but don't watch him as much as I used to. Still a godsend for us fans though.

    7. Ansem Report Podcast: Great KH podcast with some fantastic humor. They know the KH series well and I recommend checking them out if you haven't already.

    8. The Secret Reports: Best lore channel on youtube imo. If you want someone to go into depth about the nitty gritty of the series, this channel is for you.

    9. 13th Vessel: Fantastic modding channel. He did a great Keyblade Graveyard room mod the other day.

    10. Sea Salt Podcast: These guys are small, and you probably haven't heard of them. They only have a few hundred subs and they haven't uploaded in awhile, but they are hilarious. My favorite thing about this podcast is the balance of personalties they have.

    11. SarahKey: The biggest fangirl for KH on youtube. I love her passion for the series and you won't find a more genuine person in this community.

    12. Noir Lilobomber: My absolute favorite theory channel for KH. If you haven't heard of him, please check him out. He deserves way more subs.

    13. Voltedditz: It was okay when Tyler ran it, but a few months ago Playstacin took over the channel and has made it even better! He's got a great series for rewriting the worlds of KH3. If you gave up on Voltedditz awhile ago, I urge you to check it out again now that there's a new face behind the channel.

    14. Just a Pancake: The number 1 channel for everything Kingdom Hearts insert okay I believe you joke
