The biggest reason I love the series is for all the silly moments that ironically make it sorta difficult to get into

Did you too notice that Sora's face seems to be more realistic, like his overall design in that new render?

Was there any good reason that Sora and Riku needed to become "true" Keyblade Masters?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 04:13 PM PST

This is entirely what Dream Drop Distance is based around, and yet it makes no sense. What's differentiates a standard wielder and a master at all? My basic guess would be that a master is formally trained. But in Dream Drop Distance, nobody's teaching these two how to be masters, so they're still self-taught wielders.

Does it bother anyone else that Sora still hasn't...

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 05:06 PM PST

...remembered everything from CoM and thanked Namine' (as the thank you in the final world "didnt count")? I guess its not overly important as its not like he learned the power of waking in CoM or anything worth remembering but it feels weird leaving it unresolved for SO LONG and it keeps getting brought up. 3 ended the Xehanort saga well, but I feel like thats something that should have been wrapped up in 3 as well. Im thinking it will be wrapped up in ReMind, but if it isnt, beyond the DLC I cant think of a good reason for it to even matter anymore aside from Sora being Sora, you know, a nice guy that wants to give thanks when he said he would. Otherwise what would the point be? It happened so long ago.

I would have been happy with Sora thanking Namine in the final world and her reawakening those memories for him or at the very least someone filling him in on what happened. The memories still exist but are just "unchained" right? Its hard for me to believe that no one ever told him, not even Riku or the king. But he definitely doesnt remember because of how he reacted to Marluxia in 3. His friends know he doesnt remember what happened, aside from having to thank Namine' as it was the only thing left in the journal, why not just tell him? Even if someone just telling him what happened isnt good enough and he needs to remember for himself, wouldnt that make it easier for him to reawaken those memories? This plot thread just keeps getting pushed further and further back, and I dont get why. No party that was involved with CoM seems to want to bring it up. Sora even mentions it mid-battle against Xemnas in KH2FM (obviously not the time for Riku to fill him in) and then it got mentioned again in Coded, and mentioned yet again in 3 but still no resolution. Idk. The title "ReMind" seems too perfect an opportunity to not resolve this. If not, what could Nomura possibly be saving this for? Am I missing something?

EDIT: I just realized they're doing a similar thing to Ventus. Of course, his past is a recent discovery with UX, and is still under way of being fully revealed, but the point is that Ven also hasn't remembered a big part of his past. Different reasons, of course, but the parallel is interesting. Figured its something to add on to this.

Noticed something during the Scala portion of the recent trailer after rewatching it again.

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 10:25 PM PST

So I was watching the trailer again and during the Scala portion at 1:28, I noticed something that looks to be a large red orb sitting on a platform near the sewer gutters. It looks pretty distinct and unnatural compared to the rest of that area, so it seems like it could potentially be either a new collectible for Scala or at least something to interact with, perhaps? Not much to go on beyond that though.

[KH3] Should we still have hopes for Coliseum Cups?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 08:44 PM PST

I had no hopes for both FF characters as well as Coliseum Cups, but the new trailer proved me wrong and my hopes have been restored.

Maybe inside Re mind DLC? Maybe free update (DMC 5 had the tower as a free update after the release)? Or a DLC #2?

It's not much of a deal but it's so easy to make it happen, the world is already there, just make come cups and let us have fun.
