    Ordered this from the World of Tres Orchestra tour and have been anxious to listen to it all again. Two months later it's here, and it was worth the wait because Yoko Shimomura and two other Square Enix composers signed it ❤️

    Chain of Memories has an incredible plot

    Aside from the rehashing disney world stories (i just skip those cutscenes everytime) Chain of Memories has a really emotional story. The way Sora slowly forgets his friends and goes crazy wanting to save Namine, realizing it's all fake memories, but still protects her because in his heart the feelings are still real, it gets me everytime. Data Riku is also handled really well with his existentialist crisis. Donald and Goofy show true friendship towards Sora with the moments they stand beside him. Marluxia is a badass villain and very calm in a creepy way. The story of this game doesn't get talked about as much as I think it deserves. Wanted to give it some love.

    This included my critical mode save file that i lasted almost 2 months to pass(Had very little time to play).

    Actually kinda sad, don't know if i wanna do all the critical mode again, but i think i'l need to unlock oblivion keyblade

    So I grind to level 99. I beat all the data bosses. Full Bloom + as many as I can. (Like 3) ultimate weapon. I grinded Xigbar for defense boost. But this little fucker. Jesus. I have broken him down even. How many blocks. What he will do first (last frame you can tell). Roll toward him. Duing his DM block 3 times. Jump and glide. Block 4 times. Combo 3 times roll. At about 5 bars he does the whip thing. Scripted. Like I can go on and on. But I cannot beat him. The heck.

    The New Sora Renders kinda showed me how much I missed the old Kingdom Hearts art style

    After seeing Sora in such a serious look, I started to wonder why I liked this render of Sora more than any version of him I saw in kh3. I think I found the reason.

    The "cartoony" style of the Disney world is now more prevalent in Sora's base design for KH3 than it ever was before, you can see it in his face. Sora looks slightly younger because his face looks so soft and youthful while in KH2 it had more edges and looked slightly more mature. The fact that all the kingdom hearts characters look younger in 3, Kairi being a big one, kind bothered me. It might also be soras hairstyle and clothes, but for some reason he feels younger and at times the characters even feel....shorter.

    Riku was also a big one for me, you can definitely see a difference in his facial features, though he doesn't look quite younger like the rest of them. Overall, he is more cartoony, even the definition in his muscles is significantly toned down from previous games for some reason.

    I guess I can understand why, the old art style had more of a final fantasy look to it, Idk how it just did, this new one makes Sora look like he would fit in a Disney world better than any final fantasy world. But final fantasy isn't as prevalent in the series anymore so I guess there's no reason to cater to it.

    Overall if we could go back to the old art style I would be happy, but that's probably not possible. Though the new Sora render for what I'm assuming is for a Veruem Rex fight or something looks pretty cool. Idk if I'm the only one that feels this way but I don't see anyone talking about the change in art style as much.
