I got Final Fantasy 8 today and certain vibes from Balamb Garden and the SeeDs

As a Final Fantasy fan, will I like Kingdom Hearts, even though I'm not huge into Disney?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 04:40 PM PST

I have been contemplating this game since it came out! Yes, that long. I am always about to buy it (used at this point) and think hmmm, will I get into this? Do I want to hang out with Goofy or Donald Duck for many game hours? Please no spoilers, but as the title asks: As a Final Fantasy fan, will I like Kingdom Hearts, even though I'm not huge into Disney? I don't mind Disney, it's just that the draw of this game for me is that it's got FF characters and is a Squaresoft game.

A simple challenge restriction for NG+ playthroughs

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 06:34 PM PST

Anyone who's beaten the game knows that NG+ is pretty easy and repetitive since you have access to all the strongest keyblades (doubly so if you have ultima), so I thought up a thematic and simple handicap to make NG+ alittle more fun. Basically you can only use the keyblade of the world you are currently in, so

Mount Olympus = Hero's origin Twilight Town = Shooting Star Hundred Acre Wood = Hunny Spout (doesn't really matter honestly) Toybox = Favorite Deputy Corona = Ever After Monstropolis = Happy Gear Arendella = Crystal Snow Sanfransokyo = Nano Gear Caribbean = Wheel of Fate Keyblade Graveyard = Starlight The Final World = I'm not sure if your even able to change your epuipment in this one, not like it matter, and it doesn't give you a keyblade anyway Scala Ad Caelum = You don't get s keyblade in this one so I'd say use either Kingdom or Ultima, based on how much challenge you want.

With Classic Tone, Grand Chef, and both pre-order keyblades barred from use. If you want abit more challenge still, you can also opt to never upgrade any keyblade.

First time into KH3. The end of a saga, many questions answered, not all, and many yet to come. Sure it had a lot of flaws, but it still has a place in my heart, it had been a long time since the last time a game held and made me have so much fun.I can't wait for the DLC.

How do you say 358/2 Days?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 10:40 PM PST

I've been saying "three hundred fifty eight out of two days", but I'm not sure if that's right or not. Is there an official way or is it just up to how you feel like saying it? I haven't even started the game yet since I'm still on KH2, so if it's said in the game at any point I obviously haven't gotten there yet.

Going through a lvl 1 critical mode playthrough

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 05:59 PM PST

    Ursula. Holy cow.

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 07:44 PM PST

Playing the Kingdom Hearts series for the first time and Ursula just whooped my butt for so long. I finally beat her thanks to some tips I saw on older reddit posts, but, how in the heck do you guys do this on proud mode? This felt impossible just on normal haha

    Little help

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 10:26 PM PST

So I've finished platinum-ing kh1, kh2, RECOM, and now I'm on BBS. Started a critical but was wondering if anyone had additional tips for BBS or DDD cause I am NOT looking forward to some of the secret bosses or challenges. Unknown was just so unfair in normal play and my thumb hurts enough as it is...
