    I was at GalaxyCon in Richmond this weekend I hurt myself and hadn't felt good everyone was super nice even though I seemed down and tired looking I only got to be Kairi for a few hours one day. Was anyone else there this weekend?

    Superboss concept idea: Data Donald and Goofy

    This has been floating around my brain for a while now and I just wanna share the idea even if it could never happen.

    I was thinking about a Sora vs Donald and Goofy superboss fight, where Donald and Goofy form a tag team designed to support each other and beat Sora into a pulp. Please keep in mind that I am NOT a game designer or anything, so these ideas might be actually bad in nature.
    The basic idea is to make Donald stand way back and be the mage (duh) while Goofy attacks Sora and protects Donald. We all know the current KH3 Datas like to teleport around but I don't think that's fitting for our companions, so Donald would mostly just run around and keep Sora at distance with spells while Goofy attempts to stand in front of Donald and block Sora's attacks.

    This is their moveset I came up with:

    Donald

    • First of all, Donald would have MP similar to Sora. Every spell he uses costs MP and if he runs out, he gains Berserk Charge. Imagine Angry Donald wailing his staff around with the classic "Mad Donald Voice". He does quite a bit of physical damage during this time but he's not dangerous if you're not close. Another idea I have is giving him MP Rage when he is NOT recharging. He would recover MP when he gets hit.

    • Donald Fire (fast, blockable)

    • Donald Blizzard (unblockable)

    • Donald Thunder (unblockable, but interruptible)

    These are self explanatory, and they would all inflict their respective status effects if they hit. Players can decide to equip immunity equipment to avoid the effects of the attacks they find hardest to deal with.

    • Donald Cure (This would heal a health bar or two and use up all of Donalds remaining MP. Can be used to revive Goofy, also interruptible if you're fast, although it refunds the MP cost if it's interrupted.)
    • Donald Bonk (if Sora is close to Donald, Donald can try to bonk him with his staff, damaging and knocking him away. Can you win this fight bonkless?)

    Goofy

    • Obviously, Goofy is immune to attacks from the front, he has that shield for a reason, but you can stun him and risk dodge some of his moves. Otherwise, you need to find a way to get around him. Maybe spinning around at ridiculous speeds for several seconds leaves him disoriented for a bit?

    • Goofy Teleport Block (I know I said I don't want them to teleport around a lot, but for Goofy to fulfill his role as a defending supporter for Donald, this seems necessary. If you hit Donald while Goofy isn't stunned, staggered, or disoriented, Goofy will teleport between Donald and you, blocking your attack and leaving you open to attacks. This could be tied to Donald's RV, similar to Dark Inferno's Guard Stance, although I would like this to be way more punishing.)

    • Goofy Run (Goofy holds up his shield and RUNS AT YOU, hitting multiple times. Hurts like a truck, but is blockable, although you can't break Goofy's superarmor through this move.)

    • Goofy Bash (Goofy throws his shield at you. Quickly. This stuns Sora, but is blockable and, in doing so, hits Goofy on his head, stunning him instead, which in turn leaves Donald unprotected.)

    • Goofy Tornado (You all know it. My idea for this move is to make it blockable until the end where Goofy does an extra powerful, slightly delayed spin attack that can't be blocked. But if you avoid it, Goofy is disoriented, leaving him or Donald open to attacks.)

    • MP Gift (Given how iconically broken this was in KH1, I'd like to bring it back here. Just a move that restores some of Donalds MP, or helps him recharge MP faster.)

    Desperation Moves/Tag Team Attacks

    • Goofy Charge + Duck Flare: (Fireworks. Fireworks everywhere. The idea is that Goofy Charge (The KH1 move where he would charge an enemy and knock up him up into the air) knocks Sora up where he gets hits by a burst of Fireworks. Goofy then teleports, charges again, another burst of fireworks. Rinse and repeat for a few times. Sora can block the Goofy Charges, but not the Flares, so he has to dodge roll those. Goofy Charge timing is not consistent btw, so Sora has to react to him. The last of the Goofy Charges you can Risk Dodge and punish.)
    • Donald Aero + Goofy Rocket (Donald will cast MULTIPLE Aero spells which knock Sora up in the air (and KEEPS him there, no Aerial Recovery) unless he dodge rolls it, leaving the tornado as a lingering danger zone. At some point Goofy will start using Goofy Rockets from all directions, which Sora can block, but not punish otherwise.)

    Final DM:

    • Goofy Sled + Zettaflare (Donald hops on Goofy's shield and they slide around the map (Cherry flan made them really good at this apparently) very quickly. They hit Sora, throwing him from side to side with some attacks being unblockable as indicated by a bright red glow. At the end Donald will jump off and Goofy speeds up trying hit Sora. Donald uses the time to prepare Zettaflare (If you try to interrupt, Goofy will stop you) and after a short delay fires the spell. If that hits you, you're dead regardless of HP or Second Chance. It covers huge ground and comes out pretty fast when Donald has finished charging up, so make sure to time your dodge well (It also lingers for a bit so no running back into it)

    That's basically what they could do. Not sure if the moves are ultimately too easy to counter, but I guess that would be up to implementation, I really just like the idea of a fight like this. If you can cancel Donald's cure you can decide if you defeat him or Goofy first, and each on their own would be much more of a pushover. What's probably smart in terms of design would be making it so you can't just focus a single one, or punish you for doing so similar to the Nort court fight in KH3.

    There's a lot of details I omitted in how the attacks would chain together and how the fight would realistically play out, but tell me your thoughts!
