Why the heck are people mad that people use the links in Kh3?

I was watching this girl's YT video of her playing Kh3 data battles on crit mode. She beat everyone on her first try. She used the links once on a few of the fights, one of which was on accident. Some people in her comments were getting butt hurt that she used the links during one of the final moves. I asked one of them what was wrong and this guy was saying if you even use a Link just ONCE you're a bad player... Even if you're playing on crit and everything. So, I don't get it? Why are people so butt hurt about the links? They're in the game to use. The game is meant to be fun.

This guy also went ahead and said that EVERY fight could be learned and that you should learn the fight and play properly... and watch hours of other people play so you can dodge the finals properly.. Like... what the hell? It's fine if you want to not use links or play with restrictions but to start harassing and call them sucky players for using the links just ruins the game. I don't play to learn every single battle move from move. I play to have a good time and enjoy the polished skill sets.

Am I the only one that doesn't understand this? Or is this the "right" way to play?
