You know what, the final few boss fights in Kingdom Hearts II are still pretty fun to do.

Even now it's exhilarating to fight against Xemans' armored form, his dragon form and his Final Form. And of course who could forget the legendary laser dodging section?

If you touched a Heartless/Nobody/Unversed what would it feel like?

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 06:26 PM PDT

Personally I think a Heartless would kinda feel a bit rubbery and cold, one like Ansem and other larger Heartless would still feel rubbery but like you're touching an empty Halloween mask and not a person, non organization Nobodies like dusks feel like they're made of like nylon windbreaker fabric full of plush stuffing, ones that are more armory looking feel like the same nylon fabric over solid metal. Organization Nobodies just feel like really clammy possibly hypothermic people, except for Axel who still feels like a regular person who has a body temporarily or Vexen who's obviously just feel like a frozen corpse. Unversed feel prickly, like they're constantly giving off little static shocks, they feel very solid and a bit like they're made out of a smooth metal.

These are just my personal opinions I just want to see if anyone else has also thought about this.

A question for the WHOLE fandom about Days

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 04:10 PM PDT

Why do people like Days? Before starting to downvote me blindly, I want to understand why would people like the game? Xion is a sweet character sure, but the rest is done pretty bad if seen with a critic eye: the plot is barely existent through most of the game, since Roxas pretty much NEVER ask questions that he SHOULD absolutely ask to the organization and even his friends, like who is him and Xion? Maybe asking about the other members past or about the nobodies and their goal of creating Kingdom Hearts.
Heck, when the organization trick him and Xion to fight and Axel stop them, THE VERY NEXT SCENE is just them eating ice-cream together like nothing happened and then the 3 doing their missions regularly without questions (sure, Xion leave, but Roxas should NOT be ok with what happened and continue regularly).
Even the freaking trio friendship, which many claim as the best in the series, it's actually done pretty badly, since it's just them eating ONLY ice-cream every day and saying 2 random things sometimes, until the very end. And Roxas of course, even though Xion is CLEARLY having problems, he seems to just ignore or being completely ignorant on what he should do (there's being naïve and/or stupid and then being braindead).
Don't get me wrong, I cried when Xion died. But Days feel like it was written to have ONLY the beginning and the very end with 90% of the game pretty much completely pointless. Like, only Coded felt less important through the story, but at least Coded had a decently fun gameplay.
So why? Why do so many of the fandom love the game? Did people actually play it? Is it the nostalgia hitting hard and clouding your mind? Because Days could legit be the worst written game in the franchise, and I'm not joking. At least Coded had a decent character development for data Sora spaced more fluidly in the game. Roxas get development only at the very end of Days instead. So I need answers.

Frozen's Actual ending Screwed over KH3 a bit...

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 10:03 PM PDT

I played KH3 before I watched Frozen. Was clear that they were forced to shove him back into the story so they didn't make Skoll Elsa's heartless. I get it, Disney pulling strings to not upset the little girls. But after watching Frozen... what was the point of Hans being the villain in the first place? Like, not in the game, in the movie. I knew that going in, but still, watching the last third, it would have worked better if they didn't do that.

Ok, so picture this, instead of Hans pulling a 180 and just leaving Ana to die, they do kiss but it doesn't work cause he's not her true love. He panics, runs off, and never hear from him again. Then Ana goes out to search for Elsa, freezes up, movie plot ect ect. But turn that back to KH. We see all this go down more or less as it does in the game, just remove Hans. Now how do you make a final boss for Arendelle? Well, you can't pin it on Hans, so Square has their original plan and the boss is Elsa's heartless. Or some monster she summons out of despair or something. Something more interesting than just "Oh by the way Hans was in this movie".

Sorry, short rant that I had been thinking over for a while.

Edit: I just want to iterate that while I do like the world, I understand people don't and I'm not trying to start a fight over whether it is a good world or not. I just think the ending with Elsa's heartless being the boss would have been much more interesting than shoving Hans in and I think part of that is the ending of the movie could have been more interesting if we didn't have a last minute villain with him.

KHDR - New Characters Reveal (Colored 4K New)

    Posted: 09 Jun 2020 12:09 AM PDT

Just want to show my little KH collection + my other games

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 01:24 PM PDT

Some pretty screwed up stuff has happened in the KH series.

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 07:05 AM PDT

Potential Spoilers for most KH games

As upbeat and cartoonish KH is it sometimes has moments where you go back and think "oh shit that pretty fucked"

Examples of "oh shit that's pretty fucked" moments in KH

Riku stealing Pinocchio from a pleading Gepetto

Goofy "Dying" and the subsequent mourning

Roxas having to kill one of his best friends

Kairi getting murked by Master Xehanort

Aqua spending 12 YEARS is the realm of darkness and succumbing to it

Naminè's ability to fuck up people's memories

Roxas basically living a lie in data Twilight Town

We get so caught in the story sometimes that the implications of stuff like these goes over heads. If you have any more that made you go "oh shit that's pretty fucked" please add it.
