    Who's Your Favourite Trio in the KH Series?

    My favourite trio has got to be the Wayfinders trio which consists of Terra, Aqua, and Ven. BBS is the first KH game I've ever played so there may be a lil bit of nostalgia and bias on my part. But nonetheless, they're my favourite trio. I also think they have the best chemistry out there aside from Sora, Donald, and Goofy ofcourse. What about you guys?

    An idea for form change combat

    So I've had this idea floating around since I played the FF7 remake.

    In said remake each weapon has a skill attached, use the weapon enough and you can use that skill without having the weapon equipped.

    So I thought, what if there was a similar system with form changes?

    After using a Keyblade long enough you would be able to go to its transformation from any other Keyblade.

    Now granted there's a couple of problems with this system. Having unlimited access to any form would be both cumbersome for menus and gameplay.

    But what if they way form changes work was like BBS' command styles?

    So let's say you do a bunch of ground combo finishers, then you get hyper hammer and storm flag.

    Aerial finishers gives you blizzard claws and assault claws.

    Reappraisals gives you hero shield and the frying pan

    Magic finishers give you the honey blasters, magic blasters, and the Mirage staff

    Nano gear would appear in both ground and aerial categories due to its multi type nature

    Dual form and ultimate form would only be available while in any other form.

    And the second form variants would be appear from team attacks (goofy rocket, Donald fire, etc).

    Any thoughts?

    Why Xehanort REALLY crystallised/"killed" Kairi

    To those of you wondering why he didn't just clash with Kairi herself (or the princesses) or go straight for Sora to make the final piece of the X-Blade, the answer is simple:

    He was in on Sora's fate the whole time and was carrying out the plan. Xigbar knew, and YX knew and made a huge point of it. Luxord probably knew, and Ansem and Xemnas made a point of keeping him on his path. MX crystallised Kairi because he knew what would happen. MX didn't sound surprised when he found out Sora took the "forbidden path" in Scala.

    It was clear that Sora and his friends had the drop on the organisation after a 12-0 win streak, on top of them beating Ansem, Xemnas and everyone else, so MX went with the smarter and dirtier route of erasing Sora from existence by forcing him to find Kairi the way he did. If Sora's friends are his power, taking one away would deplete some of his strength, as we saw when all of them died to the heartless tornado.

    Xigbar OBVIOUSLY didn't tell MX that he would lose (thus prompting him to change plans) so he could get the Keyblade he's wanted ever since BBS, and eventually got at the epilogue of 3.

    This also re contextualises: "You need motivation".

    What if instead of motivation to fight him, MX really meant motivation to destroy himself, where saving Kairi was that motivation.

    Sure worked.

    On a side note, I think a lot of people on the internet are too arrogant. SO fast to jump on the "tHIS mAKES nO sENSE!" train, which is a self fulfilling prophecy. One can easily pay half attention or look for things to bitch about then miss details and then complain. It's VERY clear that Nomura loves his work and wouldn't make something that makes no sense just because he can get cash anyway. The guy loved his FF vs 13 so much that he he's bringing it back for KH4 after all these years. I think having a bit of basic faith is warranted.

    How do you speed up the slow activation for drive forms? (Kh2.5)

    Ive seen plenty of speedrunners be able to cancel out the knockback shield once you activate drive form before the enemies even hit the ground. I try spamming every button in the BOOK but it seems to be completely random when it cancels the slow activation. It's so slow that I can knock a boss back, and then it gives them time to not only land, but also perform a combo on me that will clip me as soon as the activation is over. Help? :)
