    A Heartwarming Detail in Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind

    Back in Chain of Memories when Namine confesses to tampering with Sora's memory she tearfully says "I don't exist in anyone's heart" Re:Mind shows us she was wrong. When Sora goes inside of Riku's heart we see the usual stained glass window. Riku's heart shows Ansem, Mickey, and Namine. I find it a bit weird Sora isn't in Riku's heart but I find the fact Namine was proven wrong is great. Whether it was meant to be platonic or romantic is irrelevant the gesture is still adorable

    The main modder for the Kingdom Hearts Critical Mix mod was doxxed and recieved death threats

    What happened:

    Modder Xendra and a few others made a mod to the original Kingdom Hearts Final Mix called Kingdom Hearts Critical Mix which revamps the game entirely and adds a "Critical Mode" feature.

    Youtuber Bl00dy Bizkitz does a playthrough of the mod and expresses that he enjoyed that mod, but he also expressed criticisms on what could've been different throughout his playthrough.

    The mod picks up traction and unfortunately, some people take the mod too far and send insults, death threats, doxxing information, etc.

    He addresses in this video that he may have came off as too harsh and apologizes for that, as well as generating a following what could've lead to the negative actions that occured.

    Why is this important and relevant?:

    Recently, various gaming communities have had popular figures come out and admit that they have either commited misconducts with minors or were found out doing so (Smash Bros, Destiny, EVO to name a few).

    Some other figures of the community may have been dragged into the situation that weren't involved and have been shamed for not doing anything to stop or have had false narratives spun about them. In addition, voice actors of video games have been berated by people who didn't approve of V.As character roles (Laura Bailey for Last of Us 2)

    What to take away from this:

    • Be excellent to each other. Don't be extremely negative or disrespectful to community members of any franchise. It's ok to not like something and give feedback/critique to content creators (not just streamers and youtubers, but modders as well because they make adjustments to existing content to make it better), but don't slam them with comments saying 'You Suck' or 'Your so bad that you should kill yourself'. If your being disrespected or see someone being disrespected to an extreme, be the bigger person and do your best to disengage, turn away, and report/communicate to others about what happened.

    • Don't send death threats or doxx people. You should NEVER threaten to kill someone or put their life in peril because of something they did to make something better. Its a law in most countries as well and can be extremely punishable if your are discovered doing this, no matter what side you are on.

    • Understand that these situations have CONSEQUENCES. Nintendo recently privated out a video that featured Streamer Spotlights for Smash. This is a Disney and Square Enix property and if they wanted, they could not only send a Cease and Desist, but also block and remove anyone from a video and/or any future conventions. This is now out there and can implicate future events.

    • Be positive and let people know that you care. It takes on negative comment or event that can ruin someone's day or life. Don't be that person. It's ok to critique the things you love, but don't completely go off the deep end and demonize who your critiquing. Say good things.

    • Speak up. If you know somethings wrong, tell someone. If you are worried that you or someone may conduct a negative action or being a negative relationship of sort, tell someone and/or get help. It's not too late for you change and the first step to solving a problem is recognition.

    • Recognize that you are part of the community. Why should anyone be hateful about someone making content that foucuses on a Kid using a Giant Key thats being backed by duck mage and a dog knight with RPG mechanics? We all come together to play the same game and be involved with it whenever and wherever.
