Hey Wielders! I'm pleased to announce that Chrithy for Charity is back once again and will be happening on August 8th @ 12PM EST!

    What's Chirithy for Charity?

Simply put, Chirithy for Charity (C4C) is a yearly charity livestream with the one purpose: To raise awareness about mental health! Started back in 2018 by our own moderator /u/Bio-Roxas, has now expanded to a community-wide effort to organize and prepare!

    Charity for 2020: NAMI

This year, the Charity is going to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health), a well-known organization that has been advocating building better lives for those (and their families) with mental illnesses, as well as spreading awareness of mental health. In 2019, they've celebrated 40 years of operation, with over 600 affiliated groups across the entire United States.

    People Involved!

    List is slightly WIP!

This year, we've got a fantastic group of streamers from across the community!

We definitely couldn't have done this as well with those who's taken part in help planning and creating graphics, overlays, and promotional material!

Additionally, every $15 donation and above will be put into a raffle to win a free commission from a list of artists! (Details will be edited later)

Theory - Sora was never meant to exist, a false light that has changed the future. MoM wants to end him to correct his vision/prophecy. Yozora was sent to protect him.

After Olympus, he saw the cutscene with Xigbar and said "wait is Xigbar Luxu?" and I just had to throw him off the trail and say no, but inside I'm smiling so hard and looking forward to the reveal

[SPOILERS] I just finished KH3 for the first time...

I don't think I've ever been more emotional towards a game ever. Except maybe Metal Gear Solid 4, but that's another story. This game may be my new favourite in the series (an unpopular opinion, from what I've seen). I just have a thing for 'grand finale' stories.

Anyway, time to go over my favourite parts, at least from the ending section.

The first visit to the Keyblade Graveyard (where everyone is blown to hell) was a shocker, but things clicked afterwards (although that section where you collect the pieces of Sora was just bizarre), seeing the Lingering Will block Terranort brought a smile to face, as well as the Union X section against the Heartless-nado (please let it be called that). Yen Sid appearing was surprising, considering he hasn't left that tower once throughout the series.

Roxas, Axel and Xion reuniting was definitely the most emotional part for me, especially in the epilogue scene where they, Isa, Hayner, Pence and Olette all sit at the clock tower.

Terra, Ventus and Aqua meeting Master Eraqus was tear-worthy.

Sora? Is Sora dead? (I have yet to view the secret ending or play Re Mind, so don't spoil those)

    WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!

    And Xigbar was actually Luxu...

Either way, KH3 was a great experience, and in my opinion, an even better finale to the Dark Seeker Saga.

Remember this stupid trend back in 2019? At least 2020 got rid of this

A weapon to surpass the χ-blade

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 10:02 AM PDT

Been stuck on Ansem-Riku for 3ish days now. I'm going insane.

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 10:07 PM PDT

Same as last post, but I've unlocked the Metal Chocobo, which does jack shit to my stats, and ruins my MP (Fairy harp is just looking like a better idea), my health stops right below Dora's portrait, and I'm really feeling hopeless about this fight. I know, it's proud mode, I have to git gud, but just throwing ars, cheesing his stunguard (which doesn't work well for me), not having counterattack or strike raid until levels 57 and 78 (level 47 rn), which sound necessary for the fight, from what I've seen, just makes this fight annoying in general. I really don't know what else to do for this, especially after 70+ hours of total gameplay, which was mostly used on the riku fight.

I feel like I should grind up a bit more to boost my HP, but my brother said I don't need to grind, but he's been playing through the series much longer than I have, obviously, and therefore has much more experience with the game. I honestly feel like I've hit a major roadblock at the moment, and I'm starting to get impatient with this.

I've been enjoying KH1 a lot, and I love the worlds (except Atlantica, but the Ursula fight was insane), but just this one fight in particular can just go suck its own dick from the back right here. I can't unlock the Olympia because the Hercules fight is just annoying for me, less so than Ansem-Riku. I'm considering hunting down the synthesizer items so I can make the Ultima Weapon, but I don't know the requirements for the materials, and I'm also just thinking about grinding the coliseum for levels, because I feel like I am severely underleveled for this specific fight.

What should I do at this point? I'm really trying to finish the game within this week and move on to CoM, but at this rate, I don't think I'll be able to at all.

Do have to play all 12 games to understand the story?

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 10:05 PM PDT

I'm interested in kingdom hearts but it's overwhelming to have to play 12 games to understand the story. Are there some games I can skip. Can I just play 1,2 and 3 and use a wiki to fill me in on the rest. If not which of non numbered games are the most important to play.
