    I was going through the character death scenes from KH3 yesterday, and re-watched Luxord's. This was after I was watching some videos from Youtuber SavageBooks (great channel, highly recommend). He was talking about writing techniques in the video on the season finale of Rick and Morty, season 4. TLDR it was on how certain dialogue literally foreshadowing the ending scene for Rick.

    Anyways, let me circle back. So was going through each death. Luxords scene came on and his FIRST sentence was:

    "You were born for these sorts of games."

    Im sure this is probably been discussed on Reddit before, but now knowing the ending of MoM, just really puts more emphasis to this sentence. Like 1) yes it makes sense for Luxord's character. He literally battles with playing cards. Used for card games. But on a subtext level, 2) Is literally referring to Sora being born for a literal video game. Haha howwww meta. But also 3) just another layer if Luxord is actually from Quadratum. Which is just HILARIOUS as Ansem the Wise refers to that world as Fictional. (which makes me question how he got to the KH world if we are just learning about it....)

    My guess is that Quadtratum looks at the world of Kingdom Hearts as fictional as well. Perhaps. Idk these thoughts just came to me yesterday! Could mean nothing as well.

    What are the bare minimum games needed to play before starting Kingdom Hearts 3?

    Years ago, I played the first two games, and then stopped. Now I look back and see that there is a ridiculous amount of side games stuffed into the series. The unfortunate truth is that I don't have a crap-ton of time to play a lot of games at this point in my life, so I have to carefully pick and choose. Is it enough to only play the three main title games? Yes, there will be gaps in the narrative, but I'm pretty good at picking up hints and implications in stories. Will I be able to infer most of what's happening, or if not most, then at least the most important parts? If not, then which games are absolute essential to play before diving into KH3?

    This franchise has been hanging over my head, unfinished, for years, and I want to finally bring it to a satisfying conclusion.

    Sora will be in Smash!: An Entertaining/Semi-Serious Theory

    OK, OK.... Sephiroth is in Smash Bros. That killed many peoples dreams that people like Sora or Geno will never get an invitation. Geno even more so because he is a Mii Fighter Costume again.

    BUT, I'm here to give us one last glimmer of light that will be our hope.

    Remember how in Kingdom Hearts 2 Sora says how Cloud went to go fight a great battle? This battle between him and Sephiroth? No one expected Sephiroth to get into Smash yet here we are with a trailer that emphasizes the battle Cloud continues to have against Sephiroth.

    What if, for YEARS, the real meaning behind this was that Sora will eventually join that "great battle"? That he will be invited to Smash through one of the three DLC slots left for Fighter Pass 2?

    Heres the second hint that Sora is possible: During Sephiroth's Showcasing with Sakurai, Sakurai took time to address how in Smash Bros, things like music take time to add because of possible copyright issues. People thought Square Enix would never let more music into Smash, yet here we are with ELEVEN tracks now and 3-4 Remixes!!!

    This leads me to believe Sakurai said this to discredit those who think companies like Disney or Square Enix would be stingy and never let certain characters or music into Smash just b/c its theirs. No. In fact, we know representatives from Disney have said they wouldn't mind Sora in Smash, and all they need is for Tetsuya to give the Green Light to start the process!

    Thus, with these two hints in mind, I still have hope Sora will be added to Smash Bros! He is such an iconic character that it would be ridiculous to never add him to the game. Just b/c people spread misinformation like saying someone "officially" said Sora will not be in Smash doesn't mean its true.

    So, do you agree? Or do you think Sora will still never be in Smash?
