    GF's First ever play through

    So recently my girlfriend, who has always been interested in Kingdom Hearts, had never been able to actually play any of the games. She decided however that we would play the games together by trading off who plays every other world or when a character switch happens (BBS and Dream Drop) and refuses to play on anything but Proud Mode from the very get go (she's been a holding her own). I can say that it has been a fun and often times hilarious experience thus far.

    As we play the games (some of us since it first began) for a long time we forget how bits and pieces of information were minor (or even large at times) revelations. As time has gone on from KH1 she has been poking at questions to do with lore as they come up and bouncing her own theories at me at future events in the games and asking me whether or not her predictions may or may not be correct. I've been letting her make the discoveries for herself, but it's been entertaining seeing from the inside back out in a way remembering when I was in the think tank myself with these very same games some years ago.

    Some of her theories have been accurate thus far even if I haven't confirmed them and given no hint(s) about any of them. Ansem's guardian being Terra, a connection between Kairi's ability to use a Keyblade and grabbing Aqua's hand in BBS, the return of Xion and Vanitas down the line are a couple of examples of her acurate conjecture so far. Some wrong ones however include "Kairi being a keyblade wielder should mean she doesn't get kidnapped again", never seeing Larxene or Marluxia again, Donald never being of any actual use outside of the times that he heals her and a couple others.

    Currently we are on Dream Drop Distance and she has just arrived in the "Symphony of Sorcery" world (she chose to play as Sora and have me play Riku). Currently she is unsure how to feel about the other organization members being recompleted but was happy to see Axel return as Lea.

    She's predicted that Sora and Riku will both pass the Mark of Mastery exam and that we will be dealing with the "3 Xehanorts" we have seen so far in 3D. I find this amusing on two fronts. One, she isn't wrong about more than one of Xehanort and two, she is yet unaware of the time travel aspect. I'm pretty sure I can safely say I'm going to hear, "We gotta kill him." in the near future refering to old man Xehanort.

    I may post an update to this depending on the general feedback this post here receives. It's been both fun and amusing seeing someone play this franchise with fresh eyes as i forgot what it looks like from the outside looking in for the first time. Either way I hope this amused and/or was interesting for at least some of you.

    That ending hit me from the left field, got me all teary for the gang. Time to start on the next installment. But I'm glad I was finally able to experience this game in its entirety. Growing up I lost interest in the series but now that I've played through KH1, CoM, watched all scenes for 358/2, and KH2. It's time to start on BBS and hopefully KH3 before my quarantine ends

    Need help unlocking ultima weapon - KH 2.5

    I have all of the materials, including the 7 orichalcum+. I have 12 energy crystals, but for some reason, the game isn't giving me an option to use it in order to buy the weapon?
