    The reason why characters like Leon have amnesia is because, being figments of Sora's imaginiation, they can only remember as much as Sora knows about them. Sora does not know the majority of Leon's life story, his knowledge is limited to what he learnt about him after meeting in Traverse Town.

    The characters are basically based on Sora's memories and their personality is an extension of what Sora knows about them which poses limitations since Sora doesn't have their full set of experiences and past. Its pretty clever tbh ngl and gives a different perspective to the KH1 worlds making them feel like a different experience not just rehasses.

    After replaying the ending of Days, I noticed that it was odd how many neoshadows there were, especially since earlier in the game, they were shown to be decently tough heartless.

    Then I realised, both characters that were in that area contained quite a fair bit of darkness, Roxas almost assuredly filled with thoughts of slaughtering Xemnas, and any others that stood in his way (and I do mean slaughter. Hes already shown fully willing to wipe his subordinates - samurais - off the face of the world without a second thought, and after losing Xion, he probably doesnt care enough about higher nobodies anymore either). And then Riku, who's just fucking Ansem.

    I feel like the bit of the cutscene where the neoshadows crawl out from Roxas's footsteps support this further, as it shows that they are there for him.

    Tldr: the neoshadows were en mass because roxas and riku were irradiating darkness

    I feel like I hardly see people talking about COM on GBA

    I've had this game for years as a result of my brother giving it to me when I was little, but I sucked at the game back in the day so I never got past the first set of worlds. But I'm playing through the game now after having beaten the rest of the series and it's so damn cool seeing all of these worlds in sprite based 2D and all the music tracks that originated from this game in its GBA sound font form. Twilight towns music, the organization themes and hollow bastion are the most notable to me. Other than the core gameplay (which I realize is hit or miss but I like a lot), the entire game feels like a de-make of KH1 with stuff from KH2 mixed in. Idk it just feels super cool and I wanted to share lol.

    Question’s from a noob. What exactly are Replica-Nobody’s, and what’s the difference between a Replica and a Somebody?

    Okay so I'm new to Kingdom hearts lore and I just had a few questions about Nobody's, Replica's, and what's the difference between them and Somebody's.

    1) Okay so my first question is, can a Replica age?

    I know that Regular Nobody's aren't supposed to age because Nomura said in an interview that "Nobodies don't age". And this is why Ven doesn't age for 10 years. But if a Nobody cultivates a new heart, then they can age. And this is why Lea ages as Axel.

    But dose that same thing apply to Replica's? Can a Replica age and get older? In the game Vexen says that his new replicas can become real enough to exist as a being in their own right. But at the same time it's shown that a heart can be pulled out of a Replica, and then it just kind of turns back into a mannequin.

    I have this question because what if Naminé lives like 60 years in her replica body, and then someone comes in and pulls her heart out. Presumable her body would turn back into a mannequin right? But then what if somebody uses that same mannequin to put a kid's heart in there. Would the mannequin reform as a kid? Or as some 60 plus year old version of the kid?

    2) Okay second question. Are Replica's effectively Somebody's? / Can a Replica ever undergo the process of becoming a Nobody?

    This question really applies to Roxas, Naminé, and Xion. They are supposed to be Nobody's who have cultivated Hearts of their own. So that should make them effectively the same as Somebody's right? They have a body, and they got a heart.

    The issue come from the fact that Roxas, Naminé, and Xion are all currently in Replica body's.

    We know that normally Nobodies are born when a Heart is swallowed by darkness and produces a Heartless. They are the remaining parts left behind by the heart: the body, giving a Nobody form, and the soul, giving the Nobody life.

    The issue is that we have seen a Replica lose its heart, and when that happened it just turned into a Mannequin. So what would happen if Roxas, Naminé, and Xion ever lost their new cultivated Hearts to darkness? Would they become a double Nobody? Or would their body's just instantly revert to a Mannequin upon losing the heart. (Bonus question. If they do become double Nobody's, then would they gain another X to their name?)

    3) Third question. Can Nobody's and Replicas have children? / If Naminé and Sora had a kid together, would it be Incest?

    So for the Nobody part of this question. Could Nobody's like Axel, Larxene, Marluxia, and Xemnas ever have children while they are a Nobody? The only thing they lack compared to a Somebody's body is the Heart. So one would think that, "Yeah of course they could have kids." And that's kind of how I feel about it, except for the fact that the concept of someone like Xemnas ever producing a child just feels weird. (like if Xemnas did have a kid, would it effectively be Xehanort's kid? / what's the genetic difference between Xemnas and Xehanort?)

    Next part of the question. Can Replicas have kids? This one also seems like it should be a yes. Since Vexen did say that his new replicas can become real enough to exist as a being in their own right. But then there comes this really weird thought. What if some Replica woman gets pregnant, and then during the pregnancy she loses her Heart? Dose the remaining body turn into a pregnant Mannequin or dose the unborn child just sort of vanish? (Also if the answer is the pregnant Mannequin, then what happens if you put a guy's heart into the pregnant Mannequin?)

    Finally the last part of the question. Naminé was a special Nobody born from Kairi's heart and Sora's body and soul. This happened because Kairi's own body never became a Nobody because her heart lacked darkness. This means that Naminé's from was heavily influenced by Sora's body. So genetically what does that make Naminé in relation to Sora? Is she like his genetic daughter? Or a sister? Or what? Also I know that Naminé was reborn In a replica body but the replica body should be the same as her old body, at least physically.

    I ask this because Naminé was originally trying to manipulate Sora's memories in such a way that she would replace Kairi with herself. If she succeeded, and made Sora believe that Naminé was the real person truly special to him, and he fell in love with Naminé, then would that relationship be incest?

    Alright so yeah, that's about all the questions I had for Replica's and Nobody's. Any help with answers to these questions would be helpful.

    Which game/s do you like the least

    Is Sora the source of Riku’s darkness?

    This might be obvious to most people, but it's never made completely clear why Riku has so much darkness, so when thinking about that first game's story, I started to think that the reason Riku ends up the way he does is actually because he's really jealous of Sora, and Sora and Kairi's special connection.

    In the beginning when Sora and Kairi are talking on the beach, Riku even shows up and says "Aren't you guys forgetting about me?" I think jealousy is also the reason for Sora and Riku's rivalry and why he seems to be always picking on Sora and later becoming an antagonist. But of course he truly sees Sora as his best friend, So i'm sure he feels guilty at the same time for his jealous feelings. Just to be clear, he's jealous of Sora, not Kairi.

    I theorize this is why he wants to see other worlds so badly is because he is lonely. He does express wanting to see other worlds as a kid, but maybe him and Sora only initially became friends because Sora is good at connecting with others, even lonely types like Riku.

    Sorry if this was already obvious to most, I just find it very interesting.
