The White Room appears to have a reflection on the floor, when in fact, it's just a translucent floor with a inverted room below (and above) it.

10 years now, time goes so fast...

September 24, 2011, it was 10 years ago today, that day I beat Xion for the first time, I was 11 years old and school had started again in France, I remember that day because it happened three days after my little brother's birthday, but I remember it mostly because it was the first time that a story touched me so much, I never forgot you, Xion

Every Kingdom Hearts Fan When Disney Branding Shows Up

    Posted: 23 Sep 2021 01:37 PM PDT

If KH ever brings in Disney TV shows

    Posted: 23 Sep 2021 08:13 PM PDT

Despite being small screen properties, a sizable portion of the fandom think that KH should bring in Disney TV shows. Do you think this could work or should work? I don't think Gravity Falls would work, considering that it's creator hates Kingdom Hearts, calling it "proof that there is no god." That said, other shows could work. Here are the worlds I think could work.

Kingdom of Corona: This one is practically gift wrapped. With 6 new Princesses of Heart, it may become necessary to have their worlds as returning worlds. Arendelle can host Frozen 2, while Corona can host the Tangled animated series. But the next question is, who should be our boss? Varian? Cassandra? Zhan Tri? Anyone of them would make worthy opponents for a Keyblade wielder.

Earthni: The ending of Star vs the Forces of Evil was controversial to say the least. For those who don't know about it, the titular protagonist, Star Butterfly realizes that the only way to stop the final villain, is to destroy magic. And in doing so, it merges all the worlds in the shows multiverse together into a single planet, called Earthni, a hybrid of the words Earth and Mewni, the reality that gets the most attention. It was a rather bittersweet ending because a large number of people died in the merging, but as Doctor Strange said in the end of Infinity War, there was no other way. Either magic and those who's existence to magic goes, or EVERYONE and EVERYTHING goes. And indeed, a large number of fantasy creatures survive as it's established that they are natural biological creatures. KH could reveal that after the merging, the new world became part of the KH multiverse and the world pl,ot could involve mopping up the remaining loose ends and the KH villains exploiting it. Plus, with Magic being strong in KH, Star could use magic again.

Manhattan: Considered by many to be Disney's darkest show, and one of Disney's least Disney like materials, Gargoyles was Disney's first and currently, only action series. It had no talking animals or cutesy scenarios and had more in common with Batman the Animated Series then anything more Disney like. Many even believe that Disney created the show in response to WB's success with Batman the Animated Series. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Like worlds like Atlantica, Pride Lands, Monstropolis, this world would change the characters species, this case into Gargoyles and would even come with unique gameplay. In terms of story, I could David Xanatos, the archenemy of the Gargoyles eager to exploit the multiverse to his selfish desires, and Demona better show up. Think Sora and the Manhatten clan would work well? Could Sora work well in a place more like Gotham City then Disneytown? Speaking of Disneytown...

Disneytown: This world could be expanded to include Duckberg and wherever Darkwing Duck or Chip n Dale's Rescue Rangers is set. Bonus points if they can bring in David Tennent as Scrooge. I don't know much about Rescue Rangers or Darkwing, but I'd been keen to see what they could bring to the table.

Hexside Academy: As I type this, there is fear that Disney plans to cancel The Owl House because it doesn't want to be "caught in woke culture" because it has a lesbian main heroine who is also hispanic. F*#^ing cowards. Well, if the movement to save the show fails, if Enix plays their cards right, they could finish the series in Kingdom Hearts.

Reasons I’m very confident KH4 will look even better than KH3

    Posted: 23 Sep 2021 09:46 AM PDT

We all know KH3 had some interesting development, I mean Nomura threatened not to make it if he couldn't even use Pixar films after all.

However, KH3 switched game engines early on in development, and this caused the game to even shift its visual appearance. Prior to the shift, the team were going for a more "Disney still" artstyle. After they switched to unreal, you can see some of the visual differences. (Compare 2.8's secret movie of Sora in the gummi ship with KH3's version of that scene, look closely)

The game was arguably almost delayed, probably not a close call, but it was a question in the air.

Now that the team has become familiar with KH in Unreal Engine, I fully believe the visual and animation & quality will surprise us once again, just as it did as we were anticipating KH3's release.

With the rise of UE5 and it's amazing capabilities, paired with the fact that Square will most likely return to that "Disney still" look with the next game (personally I liked how KH3 looks), AND let's not forget they won't have to drastically switch game engines - they'll have much more time to dedicate to one build…. I know KH4 won't be a game to sneeze at. Some people might have believed KH4 would just be on-par with KH3, but oh boy, I have a hunch we're in for a ride!
