    By casting Zettaflare, Donald established himself as the most powerful mage in the Square Enix universe. Only one other person has ever cast that spell and they were possessed by an ancient world eating god. It's ally least good to know that all that MP he saved up from NOT healing me went to something great.

    Think about it:

    • It is an anagram for "No. I" combined with a the trademark X for the Organisation, which makes clear that she is the first successful subject of the replica program. Edit: u/ZeroSora pointed out that the anagram could also hint towards No. i (lower case I). i in mathematics indicates an imaginary number, a complex number that isn't part of the Real Numbers (aka the organisation XIII). Thank you for point that out!
    • The name "Shione" basically means "Sound of the Tide" in Japanese which connects her to Kairi (and Naminé) with the water theme naming convention.
    • The flower Shion (also known as Astra Tataricus) has a meaning in the Japanese language of flowers which corresponds to "I won't forget you.".

    Played through the game and just finished. I'm extremely impressed with the plot and how Sora's character shifted so much during the mind f*** that was CoM. He's so strong and I gotta say I love the series so much more now.
