    The problem with KH3’s Disney Worlds isn’t because they are filler

    It's that Sora's reason for going to the Disney worlds are pointless. He needed to find the Power of Wakening that he already had.

    In KH1, the reason for going to the Disney Worlds was to prevent them from being destroyed by the Heartless by sealing the keyhole.

    While KH2 doesn't get away with the Disney Worlds being filler, it's less noticeable because Sora actually has a legit reason for going there. He was looking for Riku and Mickey and to make sure the Organization wasn't causing trouble.

    It doesn't help that Sora doesn't feel involved in the plot of some of KH3's Disney worlds. If you took SDG out of the story of Corona, The Caribbean, and especially Arendelle then the story wouldn't change much. That's the problem with most of the Disney Worlds after KH1. SDG feel more like bodyguards to the film's protagonist than characters who actually impact the plot.

    In KH1 you can feel that the Disney Worlds were affected by the presence of SDG like Clayton losing his heart to Darkness or Jasmine getting kidnapped by Riku. The example I like to point out is Atlantica. Ariel had some feeling that there were other worlds beside her own but it was completely confirmed when Ursula told her that SDG came from another world. This is what convinces Ariel to help her.

    I just want to let you know that this post isn't to shit on KH3. It's a fantastic game. I just pointing out that why some people had a problem with the Disney Worlds.

    I don't know why it's funny to me, but when sora got announced for smash I was happy for the people that wanted him, but never really cared for kingdom Hearts. Now that sora came and after playing him a bit, I got a but more curious about kingdom Hearts, now I want to play the games so badly now.

    Yeah, I don't know the real reason as to why. I guess it was the no context kingdom Hearts videos I watched on YouTube, but this game really looked like a game I'd enjoy. Now I really regret not even buying the all in one package while it was still in shelves.
