KH3 Theory: Sora isn't native to the KH universe

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 02:25 PM PST

Here's a theory that I'd appreciate being shot down. Some similarities between the KH3 opening movie and the ReMind Yozora scene have been bugging me.

Theory: Sora isn't originally from the Kingdom Hearts universe

    Supporting points:

The cinematography of the opening cutscene zoom in in Sora, coupled with the odd dialogue.

'They can take your world, they can take your heart, cut you loose from all you know, but if it's your fate, then every step forward will always be a step closer to home.'

    https://preview.redd.it/5474xmtnuji41.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=aa326ca01e8a6aa7303b644a2fc94669b96f0dc2

This dialogue matches up well with the nameless stars description of her and her partners fates, where they lose everything.

'They took away my name, everything about me'

'He's been changed beyond recognition, his heart replaced with anothers'.

There's also minor similarities in Yozora's choice of words about his meeting Sora

'Why are you using Sora's name? ...If you are who you say, and it was fate that brought us here...'

    https://preview.redd.it/w4gshkehwji41.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=78eb9a525f0f38fa9a51a2f04cadce9b73a6745f

Yozora seems to have a better understanding of the final world than Sora does, so it's possible there is something relevant about meeting him there.

Between Yozora's reaction and the opening cutscenes emphasis on Sora, I think there's an implication that Sora is the person who's been 'cut loose' from everything they used to know. Naturally this implies it's his 'fate' to return 'home', wherever that is.

It could be referring to someone else, like Kairi. She seems more similar to the nameless Star, but the name Sora also has weird connections to Yozora's events.

Anyone able to point out why the opening lines are irrelevant? Or that they pertain to some other character?

    Cheers

Made the starlight keyblade for a project in my computer animation class. I'm using it for a motion capture project, so I'll make a second post of the video I make in a few weeks.

This constant whining about the Limit Cut Bosses has to stop, sorry to say it but you're just bad

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 09:07 AM PST

I might be downvoted to hell for saying this but it's just getting annoying to read. Everyone who says these bosses are badly designed and are flawed, I'm sorry to break it to you but you're just not skilled enough. These bosses are, in fact, EXTREMELY well designed and people who complain about the bosses having no openings and being super aggressive are probably just mashing X hoping the game does everything for them and when they realize the bosses are actually tough they just go on reddit and start crying

Today, ladies and gentlemen, was a good day. After seeing " Not Clayton " for the fifth time, I was finally able to clear Deep Jungle and then go back to the Coliseum and beat this insufferable three headed canine
