    Um about the begining of kingdom hearts 3 im a vet of series but he starts off in the final world i find interesting because of chirithy etc do you think he died before KH3 (somehow) or it was just a super cool choice 0f tutorial stuff?

    Am I the only one that didn't realize until now that while Ven is about 15-16 in the main games, he was technically 11 or 12 in the age of fairy tales? (Spoilers if you haven't played Kh3, birth by sleep, or KhuX)

    So while playing birth by sleep I realized When Sora was born his heart connected with Ven's and helped make him whole after Xehanort brought our Vanitas from him.

    Sora is 4 when we see him in birth by sleep, years after he helped heal Ven's heart.

    This would make Ven around 11-12 when it happened. And before that he was with Xehanort for an undisclosed amount of time after getting to the present from the age of fairy tales.

    This would mean that most if not all of the kids in KHUX were anywhere from around 9-13 years old tops (not counting foretellers)

    I always wondered how those kids didn't have more sense to not kill each other in a war and how they're obedience to the MoM was so blind and doubtless, until I realized that the MoM somehow took all these parentless kids who are REALLY young, not old enough to think very rationally, took them in, and gave them all weapons/keyblades,

    And then set up a whole war where a whole bunch of 9-12 year olds murdered each other (since now death has been established as a thing in Kingdom hearts, not just "lost their hearts") all for the sale of who knows what.

    It's no wonder Ventus is so messed up by the time he meets Terra and Aqua and breaks down when they start asking questions, because even with his amnesia, this kid has since many times more deaths than kid Gohan from dragon ball z before he was even able to hit puberty 😰

    Gohan saw krillin, yamcha, piccolo, Tien, Goku (Twice), Trunks, chioutzu, and Android 16 die by the time he was that same age, but at least he never caused their deaths. Counting villains like Nappa, Cell, Ginyu force (four of the 5), Raditz, King Cold, Android 20 and 19, and frieza.

    That's a total of 19 deaths.

    Ventus saw hundreds if not thousands of kids die through murder/war and in a war they were manipulated into, and on top of that was forcefully manipulated to kill one of his friends sister and is incredibly distressed after finding out he could be responsible for it, and then after being brought to the present with amnesia gets taken in by a dark keyblade master who chose to abuse the heck out of him and force him to fight heartless to make him bring out his darkness,

    And then was rendered almost dead after the Vanitas extraction and getting brutalized by heartless, probably screaming while Xehanort just watched,

    And then became amnesiac and was almost killed by his newal master, who's like a father to him, to prevent the X-blade from being forged.

    Then he chooses to end his own existence (in terms of having his heart in his body) to beat Vanitas and save the few good things he has in life, Terra and Aqua, only to be brought back into a war again in kh3 where he dies after getting sliced by his best friend and eviscerated (let's be real, shadows attack with their claws and there were millions of them) by a heartless tornado (but then brought back).

    If Ventus ever gets his memories back, he's going have a lot of trauma to sort out.

    The MoM is probably the sickest villain ever, enough to make Xehanort look like a proper gent.

    Can't wait to see what his reasons are though.
