    Kingdom hearts 3 is one of the best story games I have played.

    Now before lots of you begin telling me the game sucks compared to other kh games, hear me out.

    I have been playing kh games for as long as I can remember, though only finishing kh1 as a child. Now that I'm older Ive collected almost all of the games (only missing DDD) and played most of them. Kh3 is my latest addition to that collection and since I my first post on this sub, just 2 weeks ago I believe, I have played this game for over 60 hours, which I consider a lot because I work fulltime and my girlfriend and me also spend a few hours together every day. It hasnt happened in years that a game could keep me interrested for as long as kh3. Even Re:CoM and Birth by Sleep didnt (only kh games outside of 1 2 and 3 Ive played until I decided to break from it).

    Even outside of kh3. Recently I played god of war, but still haven't finished it because KH3 took my attention away. Its been years since a story game was good enough to keep me from taking breaks, and while the story mightve been confusing, and the game lacking in several ways (myself I disliked the lack of disney villain fights, since the titans didnt feel like the end boss when hades has been fought so often, and Davy Jones was the only other), the collectable hunt and gameplay itself are fun enough that I didnt even (re) mind doing some fights again.

    Kh3 is the first game that made me want to do ng+, which I will start soon, and where I went 100% completionist on the first playthrough.

    While the game lacks in several ways, it has a way of keeping players enjoying it, better than most story games I've played.

    PS, both Kh1 and Kh2 were better imo, I played through kh1 7 times, one of which a speedrun and thats the only game Ive ever speedrunned, and kh2 2 or 3 times but still working on completing it 100%. While kh1 and 2 might be better imo, I do enjoy kh3 more than re:CoM and bbs, and from what gamplay Ive seen I like it more than ddd too, leaving 358/2 days the only contender for 3rd place in kh series imo.
