    Our community lost a hell of a member today.

    This morning a member of my family passed away. She was in her 80s and had been playing since the original Kingdom Hearts and even helped me beat it as a little kid. She was so excited when KH3 came out and even if she wasn't in the best health then I'm glad she got to experience it. She loved this series and anything Disney and pokemon related. She was an amazing woman, an avid supporter of games and cosplay (she even made Harry Potter robes for my cousin and I as kids) and our community will be a little bit less bright with out her.

    Not really sure why I decided to write this but i thought you guys would appreciate her. May your heart be your guiding key grandma.

    (KH: MoM Spoilers) People both overrates and are too harsh on Kairi.

    So well, Melody of Memory, and for the ending, we have a quite controversial scene, a (really beautiful) fight scene between Kairi and Memory Master Xehanort, where Kairi is not able to land one single hit, and when MX was going to hit her, Kairi suddenly summons the Kingdom Key, and becomes Sora to fight Xehanort.

    People was outraged, talking about how Kairi can't be the protagonist of her own game, or beat the final boss, and I'm like... "What?"

    We are talking about Master Xehanort, literally considered the Strongest Keyblade Master of all history, every main incarnation of Xehanort had the main character needing a bunch of help.

    Ansem: Sora fights and defeats him alongside Donald and Goofy.

    Xemnas: It's Sora and Riku together constantly saving each other's necks.

    Terranort (BBS): Ok, fine, technically both Lingering Will and Aqua soloes him in their respective fights, but this was also explained as Terra's mind fighting back and not letting Terranort go full power, as shown in...

    Terranort (KH3): Soloing all Guardians, everyone? Sora, Aqua and Ventus fighting him and him still going on with the Guardian Terra needing to save everyone? Sure, ReMind Sora fights him alone, but even then, gameplay is not fully canon, Sora just matched Terranort, then he edged him with Guardian.

    Young Xehanort: Riku had the Dream Eaters help.

    Master Xehanort: It ends like it started, Sora, Donald and Goofy fights him, and then in ReMind it's both Sora and Kairi defeating Armored Xehanort.

    You can see? Literally every single Xehanort required help, so why people are specifically outraged at Kairi not soloing the previous arc main Big Bad? She obviously needed Sora's help, I would actually be outraged if she actually somehow defeated him by herself, as that'd be even more BS, Sora-Kairi at least still makes more sense. And Kairi is still obviously improving no matter what you say, she broke Xemnas's guard in ReMind, helped Sora against Armored Xehanort, and even if she didn't land a hit, was really good while fighting Memory Xehanort by herself for a good while, doing the obvious thing that wielders often forgets, which is recalling their Keyblades.

    As more and more people come out with the horrible news of Quinton Flynn praying on his fans, I think it is important to let people know that loving Axel is completely separate. Axel is a well-written character and has a very endearing story. The voice actor being a scumbag doesn't invalidate your love for a character. We as a community must denounce Flynn for his actions but we can also still appreciate Axel.

    Can we acknowledge how much better the voice acting is in this game? This confirms my suspicions that kh3 had terrible voice direction honestly. Riku especially has his voice back from the dullness of kh3.

    And Alyson Stoner as Kairi really brought her A game. So the voice direction in this game, even tho it's not a huge game, is sooooooo much better than kh3.
