Juleus I think is his name

I like this boss more than I tought I would. It's the only superboss that is a disney character and isn't a retread of a story boss, has a cool moveset that fits a more cartoonist character. I like this boss, and pretty fun.

    The Haunted Mansion world idea

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 07:52 PM PDT

So I brought this idea up before but wanted to provide a more discussive indepth idea to it. I think a Haunted Mansion world would be perfect for the next KH game (be that 4 or a spin off title).

The reason I believe it would be good to have this as a playable world, is because it can fit in with the current theme of death and the Afterlife introduced at the end of Kh3 and in remind.

How it would fit, taking ideas from the Haunted Mansion game, is that 999 spirits are trapped in the manor due to an original evil bad guy or a generic heartless (but imo getting tired of generic bad guys). As sora, riku, or whoever we play as and have in our party, have to help madam leota in releasing the spirits so they can return to the Afterlife (which could possibly be The Final World).

I was thinking party members appearing as ghosts but feel that they would be more beneficial to just appearing as themselves.

The potential for different areas would be heavily based on the rides/game/movie: such as the stretching room, the graveyard/crypt, the foyer, ballroom/dining hall and attic.

The enemies would be a mix of enemies from the game (such as gargoyles/evil spirits) and heartless themed enemies. As for bosses, I could see the hat box ghost being atleast a miniboss. Not sure what his moves would be, but maybe part of his tricks is thst his head is his only attack point, but it keeps appearing in random hat boxes

As for overture music, it of course would be Grim Grinning Ghosts as an instrumental piece (such as this is Halloween and under the sea world music).

One idea I would like is that upon entering the Mansion the ghost host does his "Welcome foolish mortals" bit for the party members. Maybe the final boss turns out to be the ghost host lol.

But let me know what yall think of this? Any additional thoughts or ideas would be welcomed!

This Needs To Be Addressed Since It Seems Nobody Has Realized

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 01:22 PM PDT

(Spoilers) At the end of KHUX, we see the chirithies of the keyblade wielders absorb their masters's hearts and change into the familiar dream eater forms we know from DDD. Now what everyone keeps saying without second thought is that our dream eater spirits from DDD are those keyblade wielders and their chirithies, but this is obviously false when you remember one key thing, you create those spirits, every spirit you use in DDD is created by Sora and Riku, and didn't exist prior to them entering the Realm of Sleep, they can't possibly have the hearts of those ancient keyblade wielders within them. But you know what dream eaters did exist before Sora, Riku, or even the TWEWY gang got there?

Need a bit of help with game order

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 07:41 PM PDT

Bought 2.5 remix, played kh1, watched 358/2 and skipped CoM. Just beat kh2 and wondering if playing bbs before ddd is a good idea, since it would be really convenient.

A pointless dumb question I thought up at 2am

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 11:00 PM PDT

Sense Kairi is from a different world. Does that technically make her a alien?

Are Sora and kairi even the same species? I know they look the same. But sense the worlds are far apart and are on there own. Maybe the humans evolved into slightly different beings.

This is dumb but my 2:00 am sleep deprived brain won't stop.

    Best Time for MOM Online?

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:22 PM PDT

I'm finally trying out the online play for Melody of Memory but I can't connect with an opponent. Is there a time of day where it's more populated or is it just dead altogether?

What's your favorite and least favorite KH games?

    Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:16 AM PDT

Favorite: KH2, hands down. Loved the new designs for Sora, Riku, and Kairi, the story was easy to understand and captivating, and best of all, the Disney worlds felt important. I loved KH3, but the worlds felt like stepping stones (not to mention that 7 hearts thing got chucked out the window before we found all of them), and the story felt rushed, albeit satisfying.

Least Favorite Game: CoM, though Coded is a close second. I despised the gameplay for CoM and I could never get far with it, so I resorted to watching the cutscenes to keep up.
